If you want your deposit back dont live here. They will charge you a pet rent, pet deposit and youll still get a bill that you gonna owe them more money because of pet damages. And when you question it they just give the same response over and over and then tell you you have until the 1st to pay the statement when your bill says you have 45 days.
This property management company is very dishonest and discriminates against tenants who arent students. It states in our contract that after our 12 month lease expires the lease will automatically become month to month which is one of the reasons we chose this apartment complex. Now that our lease is almost expired, I notified the office that we plan to stay on the normal month to month basis. They then told me that they are not offering month to month for the month of August. When I asked why she said because it would prevent a student from renting out our apartment if we moved out in September. I told her the reason we want a month to month lease is because we are trying to buy a home and dont want to be stuck in a contract. Her response is that this is a business. I couldnt believe this is how we are being treated after being great tenants for 10 months with no problems and we always paid our rent on time. THE PROPERTY MANAGER DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE TENANTSHERE AND GIVES PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT TO STUDENTS FOR SOME REASON. DO NOT TRUST WHAT IT SAYS IN YOUR LEASE BECAUSE THEY WILL BREAK THE CONTRACT WHENEVER IT SUITS THEM.
