Cuyahoga Community College, OH

Cuyahoga Community College is a two-year institution with locations scattered around the Cleveland metro area and its suburbs. Inviting applicants to student housing since its establishment in 1962, the school is the oldest community college in Ohio, and with an enrollment approaching 32,000 in 2010, it's also the state's largest. In recent years the popularity of the Cuyahoga Community College and college apartments has skyrocketed, and the school continues to expand to draw in new applicants and improve the experience of student living.

Cuyahoga Community College, affection called "Tri-C" among students, offers more than 1,000 courses in its various associate degree programs, offered in both the traditional classroom setting and distance learning services. As a two-year college, the institution encourages academic advancement for its students through transfer agreements with some of the region's most popular four-year colleges and universities. However, the school evidently remains dedicated to student living on and around campus. For example, in Fall 2009, the college opened the Center for the Creative Arts, which houses the film and digital media program, arts program and recording arts program.

An off campus apartment is commonly the preferred choice among CCC students. Though it's main campus is in Cuyahoga County, the school also has a Metropolitan Campus in downtown Cleveland, a Western Campus in Parma, and an Eastern Campus in Highland Hills. A college apartment in each of these areas offers a unique experience on the student lifestyle and on life in the community.
