I am moving to Columbus because of a wonderful job opportunity where I would be able to pay my rent in a weeks pay. I started off my application with a wonderful, caring and professional representative at Northwoods apartment named Jessica who I was told is no longer working with them:( which was very unfortunate because she definitely represented great customer service and knew her job well. After running my credit report I was told that I just needed to validate that I did not owe a large Collection amount that was alleged 4 years ago from a prior apartment complex. With ease I provided Northwoods with several documents that clearly showed that I did not owe the amount to the complex. In fact, even providing proof of allegations being false. Also including a document that showed the company did not even pursue the money dropping the case a couple days before the court date due to me providing sharing with them that indeed had held onto all past documents. I was called by Kyle (front office) who was very rude and disrespectful and insisted that I owed the money. I asked to speak to a higher up who made the actual decision and I was told that he will not give me her number but instead he would have Sarah ( front office) call me so that she could tell me the exact same thing which was that You are denied! I was disappointed but I fought to keep my cool and still had questions and concerns which led to Kyle getting worked up to the point that I had to remind him that it was a business transaction and that I understood he did not make the rules but with all my failed efforts it resulted in him hanging up on me. Very disappointed customer service is not the same anymore. Nice apartments great place for a pet(s) to reside but what a big disappointment! I miss Jessica she at least was kind, professional and in control of her feelings. I did have a good review from my most current landlord and this wasnt even being taken into consideration. Im seeking a 3 mo. lease:(
This apartment is by far the worst place I have ever lived. They charge luxury prices for crappy outdated apartments. They often pay tenants 50 dollars to leave positive reviews regarding the apartments, My wife and I have been asked twice and refused both times. I have unfortunately lived here for 19 months and the only option we have was to buy a house since we have a GSD and not many apartments accept the breed. The apartments are awful, we have had more issues than we could keep count. To start we have not been able to use a screen door since we moved in, it falls off the track as soon as you slide it. they replaced the door but it didn't solve the problem so they gave up on the situation. The carpet is the cheapest stuff they can find. We had to threaten legal action due to the carpet being so old it was causing health issues to finally get it replaced. We initially signed an 18m lease and were in a situation we had to sign it for another 4 months. We came to an agreement they would remodel the apartment in order for us to stay. We came to terms in June 2018 and was told they would start the remodel in 4-6 weeks. After 6 weeks I reached out and was told I was wrongly informed that it would be 4-6 weeks from when our lease renewed(they have until Oct 22nd 2018 to complete). We were called on Friday Oct 12th that they would be in Wed to complete upgrades and that we needed all bathrooms and kitchen completely empty to complete which was no issue. Today Wed Oct 17th they called and said the maintenance man called off and they will need come in tomorrow and may need Monday to complete everything. Our apartment has all the things from our bathrooms and kitchen randomly placed to provide the room then need to work. Now we have to spend our entire weekend with no bathroom or kitchen because they decided until last minute to complete the upgrade. I can honestly say I cannot stand this place or the staff that works here. They lie and tell you one thing and not a single
I talked to the ppl around their they seem very unhappey for how useless the workers are how rude they are when I comes to help n how they charge to much for such a terrible box apt best bet would go homeless before I lived here
2 years of non-stop fun like:
Nearly a month without a washer
Being towed with insufficient notice
Lack of communication between all employees
Move in day the apartment was a mess, mold in the fridge, a leftover disgusting shower curtain in the tub, leftover clothes.
If I could give this place negative stars, I would. The google reviews are great because they give their tenants a rent credit to write them a "nice" review, but these apartments are definitely less than desirable. The maintenance people are lazy so just plan on calling them to fix the same thing multiple times because they lazily do everything. The term "luxury" is so far from the truth.. but make sure your car is luxurious, or they'll tow you or make you pay $100 for a garage. AND if you don't want or watch cable, don't bother moving here because they'll make you pay $100/month for it anyways. The turnover rate in the apartments and the leasing office are about the same. Can't keep tenants, can't keep staff. DO NOT MOVE HERE. You can rent from surrounding communities for about the same as you pay here. With all of the utilities they MAKE you pay through a third party (but you never get to see a break down or receive an explanation for increases), you are looking at about $1,000+ not including electric and rent. RIP OFFFFF.
