Positives: Exceptional natural light and gorgeous lake view (if you're on the Euclid side). High end appliances, his/hers bathroom vanity. Super convenient dog grooming station and mini-gym. Alex and Tracy are great, 50% of security is good. Generous bulk garbage disposal policy.
Negatives: Windows only open 3 inches, no screen. No recycling capability. No rooftop or outdoor patio/community area. Parking garage is way overpriced considering it's disgusting. Zero nearby green space for dogs/kids. Lot of panhandlers in the surrounding block. Zaytoon and Puente Viejo both recently permanently closed.
This is a fantastic apartment! It has very high ceilings, a fireplace, luxury bathrooms, a beautiful kitchen with high-end appliances (including a wine cooler!) and the most beautiful floor to ceiling windows in downtown Cleveland! Also, there is ample storage and closet space - in fact, when we moved we were able to close our off-site storage unit. In addition to the beautiful building and the quiet Playhouse Square neighborhood, the staff of K&D has been outstanding!! I can't say enough about Rita, Alex and the entire K&D crew - they are exceptionally accommodating and responsive to any request.
To sum up . . . you cannot go wrong at the Halle Building. If you are looking for a downtown apartment, get over there and grab the final few that are available - you will be glad you did!
except the pet policy..Dogs under 15 lbs..really?..hat is a rat!..lol.
