Hunter's Manor

My husband and I downsized from a home and we really wanted to find the perfect place that we would now call home. We love our apartment and have no regrets. The management and Maintenance is wonderful. They keep it well maintained. We have great neighbors always it's always a quiet community, everyone is friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone, and I have. We have no plans on leaving here. This is now our home. Come check it out, trust me you will have no regrets!! The Federico's

My husband and I downsized from a house an apartment to Hunter's Manor, due to him not being able to keep up on all of what a home requires. We really looked long and hard for the perfect place, we now call home. We visited a few times , drove around different times of day and night to get a good feel of what the community was like. We met again toured apartment and made our decision. The Apartment leasing dept was amazing, very nice. We have lived here now going on 3 months, we know without a doubt, this is home and feels like home. We are very happy here and would recommend this place 5 stars. Thank you again to all the staff that make Hunter's Manor apartments look beautiful, well kept up and an all around great team. The Federico's

I don't understand the review from 8/20. How did it get published? The truth about this place is that it has gone so far downhill in every aspect that I don't believe it can ever come back up. I should know. I lived here for a decade and am glad to be somewhere else where I am appreciated and treated with respect. Where the hallways, lobbies, parking areas and pool are kept clean. Where work orders are taken care of almost immediately. Where my rent check is cashed within a day or two. Good luck to you if you decide to live here. You will need it.

I cannot give any review without talking to you or visiting your place.

You will be treated nice until you sign the lease. After that good luck getting these people to fix or help you with anything. They are all so rude! Take a good look around when you check the place out. Nothing matches up to the hype. When you leave you'll be charged for all kinds of things you supposedly broke or didn't clean.

Beautiful property great price great square footage

Been here for about 6 months now and it is wonderful! You go to apartments elsewhere and they are so expensive! The staff is great. Everyone is wonderful here!!

I lived here for a year before I relocated to another state. I would have resigned my lease in a heartbeat if I was going to stay in the area. I never had any issues and the apartment layout was beautiful. They take great care of the look of the complex and decorate for each holiday. The surrounding area is also just as nice. They seldom bother you and would respond to maintenance issues promptly. I will miss living there.

Lived there for 17months. Very nice area. Management and maintenance team are very responsive. Apartments are very clean, Nice Gym and pool.

Absolutely wonderful place to live. Staff is friendly and helpful. Only negative is need more people on maintenance team, sometimes takes days to get issue resolved yet they are so professional, upbeat, respectful and helpful. Truly enjoy neighbors, community, staff and surrounding area.

Can't wait to get out of here. I should have seen the red flags when they tried getting us to commit to signing a lease without knowing what rent was going to be. I said there is no way I would sign with out that information and finally got an answer from a manager. As far as GMS management goes, the people over there are very nice over the phone, however the woman who works at the office here at Hunters Manor is literally the most rude woman I have ever spoken to. I believe her name is Aurora. No matter what I call about, whether its just a simple question about pool hours, she is VERY snotty and rude. We have a few things break but usually maintenance is pretty fast at fixing things. However it should be with the prices here. The kitchen appliances are ancient and never work right, and the workout room hasn't seen an upgrade since 1985. Not impressive whatsoever. Overall I like the location of these apartments, but my experience has just rubbed me the wrong way and I am not planning on renewing our lease next year. On a side note the woman who works on weekends is absolutely lovely! She was the main reason why we wanted to live in these apartments. She was very friendly and down to earth, I only wish she worked full time instead of Aurora, I might consider staying.

Your "team" is not there to help. You haven't had adequate or proper help in the leasing office since 2016 when Samantha left. Whenever we tried to complain about something or offer a suggestion, we were met with a snide attitude and dismissive comments. I have communicated most of my grievances with Hunter's Manor adequately, and according to friends still living at your complex, most of them have been left unaddressed. I believe the only reason you offer to "help" in response to a review is because people now have the option of informing prospective renters on sites like this one through reviews. In addition, anyone thinking about renting one of your three bedroom apartments should be aware that the master bedrooms and bathrooms, which were constructed over the garages, are unbearably hot in the summer and unbearably cold in the winter. They should be prepared to invest in extra room heaters and fans and/or air conditioners. Also, while it should be assumed that anywhere up to six people will be living in a three bedroom apartment, management does not take that into account when providing in-suite washers and dryers. Marginally effective machines are installed, and large families attempt to use them as often as needed, and then they break and break and break and break. I cannot even estimate how many times we contacted the office for repairs on the laundry machines. Many times, the "fix" was to bring us a machine from another apartment, which I then had to clean (it was brought in with the previous tenants' dirt on it and in it). Towards the end of our stay at Hunters, the only way we got our washing machine replaced was to inform the office that it was taking four hours to wash one load, as it perceived loads to be unbalanced and would then drain and refill -- for hours!! There you have a few more of our concerns. It will remain to be seen if anything is ever done about them.
