This is an excellent location for graduate students. Pros include security (will receive packages); optional indoor parking; minimal pest issues throughout 4 years in 2 different units. Downsides of the building is that it is older (as are most apartment buildings in Cleveland Heights), and the overall building maintenance is mediocre at best. Expect leaky faucets/showers/fridge. Overall I recommend this building for its convenience factor.
Great location and generally quiet, but an old building. Apartments could be refurbished. Maintenance response is very slow.
Price is slightly expensive for the size of the rooms. The room itself is not in the best condition as well prior to move in and many of the parts of the room are not properly maintained by the management. Most importantly, the management is not kind or respectful to the residents here and treat most of the residents poorly.
Very over priced with strict, arbitrary rules that have virtually no exceptions. Building management relies on international grad students to fill many of the apartments due to the premium charged for these units. I have found that there's generally a 50/50 chance of staff helping with a problem when brought to their attention. You also cannot schedule a date or time for building maintenance to come to your apartment, nor do you get notice of when they plan to come to your apartment.
Building management are often rude, unhelpful and unresponsive to resident requests or concerns. General facilities are run-down and many units, including my own, are rife with maintenance issues which take the management months to address.
