What Renters Like and Dislike About Cleveland Heights

I love my neighbors kids. I feel comfortable knocking door to door in case of (a cooking) emergency.

I love going to the casinos. There are people from all over the world who come here and I get a chance to meet many people. There are interesting coffee shops and bars to visit, it's really a lot of fun.

I like going to my grandmas house . Oh holidays with family and friends . It's nice and you get to speed time with them.

We are close to stores. We have public transportation, man sometimes we have concerts we also have places to exercise.

I enjoy it being very walkable. The services in Severance Circle are very, very convenient!

All About

Living in Cleveland Heights, OH

Cleveland Heights is a town in Ohio with a population of just over 45,000. The city's residents, at an average age of just over 38, skew younger than most cities in Ohio. Renters tend to be in the minority in the area, and 55% of residents own their homes. With an average rent of $933 a month, exceeding the state average by $122/month, relatively high rent costs may be a factor in the higher levels of ownership.

Cleveland Heights residents have an average commute of about 25 minutes. Many residents (38%) drive themselves to work, while public transportation is not used extensively. Walking (3%) isn't a common way to get to work, though the number exceeds the national average.

Compared to the national average (7%), Cleveland Heights has a large number of residents older than 25 who have advanced degrees, as 15% possess a Master's or a Doctorate. Furthermore, 17% have a Bachelor's degree, which also outpaces the national average. Many Cleveland Heights residents work in one of two industries: healthcare and education. Combined, these industries make up 19% of the workforce in the city. Meanwhile, looking at job function, many of the city's residents work in management, which ranks as the top profession in the city. With an average annual income of just over $71,000, Cleveland Heights workers earn about $8,000 more than the average Ohio resident. Cleveland Heights's average income, however, is roughly on par with the national average ($73,345).
