I have been a resident at Cedargate for 3 years. The place had gone downhill since I moved in. I have had 3 repairs during this time. The repairs were done with used parts, requiring them to be done again. The driveway is pitiful, many of the sidewalks are lower than the ground resulting in walking through mud when it rains. The exterior of the building need paint. A few of the speed bumps were removed and people drive too fast in the complex. Several days a week, we see " dumpster divers". It is obvious that corporate does not care about the appearance of the complex. The asphalt in the parking areas are gone down to dirt. The units are overpriced. Several current tenants are moving out when our lease expires.

Hello, Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear you are having such a frustrating experience with maintenance & the property, but I really appreciate you bringing these issues to my attention.

I do apologize that you had 3 work orders over the 3 years you have lived here and you were not satisfied with the work that was done. Maintenance at times will trouble shoot an issue and it might require a couple different tries to get it right but I will talk to them about doing better at getting it right the first time.

Corporate has several projects budgeted for the spring and summer. Last summer we did sidewalk work and we will be doing that again this year. Maintenance is also scheduled to power-wash the buildings and paint where needed.

I agree with you that some cars do drive thru the parking lot faster than they should. We have speed limit signs up and I will make sure I address the speeding in our May newsletter. I have also addressed the asphalt in the parking lot with my district manager to get this in the budget for next year.

We have addressed the only lady that comes and gets cans out of the dumpster. We have explained to her that this makes the residents feel uncomfortable and have ask her to stop.

We do feel our apartment pricing is competitive with other apartment complex in the area. All though we hate to see our residents go, we understand that things change in peoples lives and we love welcoming in new residents.

We are working hard to maintain the property to make sure everyone loves where they live. If you have any other concerns please feel free to come into my office and we can talk about it. I pride myself in listening to all resident concerns and addressing their issues to the best of my ability. My door is always open and I would like the opportunity to here from you too.

Nice neighbors and the management is very helpful. The maintenance is great and keeps apartments in great shape.
