The Vibe at 830 Main Street

I usually leave 5-star reviews for businesses, especially local ones, to support them. However, I have to break my own rule and leave a terrible review for "The Vibe" apartments. I moved in on April 30th, 2024, and I deeply regret my decision. While the building itself is nice and new, the management is atrocious and they clearly do not care about their tenants. The first red flag was during the initial showing when the person who was supposed to show me the unit was half an hour late. I assumed they were busy and let it slide. The real problems began after I moved in. As the first tenant in a new unit, I expected everything to be in working order. However, I discovered around May 20th that the AC unit was not functioning. I tried calling management 10-20 times, left voice messages, but nobody bothered to get back to me. I eventually filled out an online form, and Dustin finally reached out, saying they would provide a portable AC until the central AC was fixed on May 23rd. Dustin brought the portable AC but forgot the window seal, rendering it useless. After five days, they gave me the seal. The portable AC itself was a nightmareit required draining every few hours to avoid flooding the apartment and consumed so much power that it frequently tripped the fuse box. For the past three weeks, Ive been unable to sleep at night because I have to leave the window open, making it unbearably loud. I call Dustin daily, but he never answers, and when he does email, he falsely promises that the AC will be fixed "tomorrow." This has been going on for three weeks. For the sake of your well-being, avoid them at all costs. I am taking legal action to cancel my lease and strongly advise others not to make the same mistake.
