My family lived at The Woods for three years before moving out in 2018. During our stay, the apartment came under new management. Workorders we put in were never fulfilled. When I asked at the office, the lady always said she'd "check with maintenance", but nothing ever came of it, and the issues persisted. One time, we waited 6 weeks for someone to come fix our shower (whenever we showered upstairs, it rained in the kitchen). I found out later they had closed the workorder after week 2, and didn't bother putting in a new one, despite me checking in with the office another 4 times; each time I had been told that "someone would be out the next day". We finally called emergency maintenance one night, who ID'd the issue immediately and fixed it the next morning. The worst incident came when our AC stopped working at the beginning of the summer. We put in a workorder on Saturday and were told someone would definitely be out Monday to look at it. Monday came and went without maintenance. I checked with the office on Tuesday, and the lady seemed surprised, and said she would definitely send someone out Wednesday. Wednesday came and went, and no one came. I went into the office on Thursday, this time spoke to a different woman, and was told there was a line in which our unit was #7 to look at AC--completely new information. I was also told there was no ETA for when the AC would be looked at. We were not happy. I checked every other day for two weeks, tracking the progress of our place in line, and being told several more times that "someone would be out the next day", which never happened. Finally, someone fixed our AC. I asked to speak to the district manager, and was told she would call me by X day--the Friday that our 2 months notice to vacate should be submitted. She didn't call. I sub'd our notice Monday; they took $90 from our deposit return because of the three days late. I don't have the energy to tell them it was their fault. Would NOT recommend living here.
