Amber Pointe Apartments

The location is great. Right next to the shopping district, I am able to quickly reach anything I need. Rent and utilities are incredibly affordable, plus it comes with WiFi built into the rent! The facility might be smaller, but it's well worth the quality. The carpets, walls, cabinets, and appliances are in good condition with no stains or scratches. In the summer the lawn, parking lot, and garages were kept very clean, though it did decline in the winter months. Parking also became somewhat difficult in the winter. With roads narrowing and parking lines disappearing, it sometimes became difficult to find a parking spot if two cars were already parked in the garage, or if friends or family came to visit. In the summer it is never an issue.

I have lived at Amber Pointe for almost 4 years and have enjoyed it. The office people have always answered my questions and concerns. The maintenance have always fixed things when I've emailed them a concern, and we're very nice and professional. I highly recommend Amber Pointe, it's also quiet and friendly.

The facility is nice, we love the apartment itself. Working with maintenance has been nothing short of horrible. We put in a call, but it's an outsourced site, and they put a ticket in, and the ticket waits 3-5 months before it even gets to the local office. We went in to the local office, they never know what ticket we are talking about, and they never know what maintenance request we had submitted. Then we continue to come into the office until our maintenance is completed, which is anywhere from 5 months plus. We asked if we could coordinate ourselves with maintenance, and the office manager scoffs at us, outright refusing. There has got to be a better way. We had a fridge door without a handle for weeks and weeks (broken from general wear and tear), we even started just buying our own replacements in frustration.

Nice space and design. Management and maintenance are decently timely. Some parts of the apartment are cheap/poorly installed (kitchen cupboards are crooked). That's really my only complaint.

I really love my apartment. I love the tall ceilings the most, it makes my one bedroom feel so open and spacious. It is a very homey apartment building. The one thing I would say I don't like about it is that I've noticed some things are cheaply done, but still looks nice. Also the fact that our buzzer hasn't been working for the last few months and no one has come to fix it.
