The Apartments are simply beautiful! The management staff is very excellent, and always goes above and beyond. Very happy with living here last year, decided to stay for another :)
I really like my apt. the location is where I like to be, close to major roads. Banking, food ,gas are very close and in walking distance.
I do not recommend renting from Amber Pointe Apartments. I lived in this apartment building for four years. There was multiple maintenance issues such as my patio door not closing or sealed which was problematic during the winter creating drafts and letting out the heat, flooding of garages when it rains or snow melts, icy parking lots that are left untreated, frequent shorts in the garages (so don't store a small chest freezer in there), and the stove top turning off the power. With each issue, maintenance staff blamed me for the issue. I will give credit to one maintenance worker who said it was good to report issues as bigger issues could have happened. So thank you sir. Overall, there was inconsistencies between staff with multiple people coming and going. Property staff would not get back to me unless it was something they needed to follow up on with their deadline. Despite not allowing smoking in the building, there are people who are smoking in their apartment which was left unaddressed. I would often hear "Oh sorry that must've been something a previous staff who now longer works hear said." What tipped the scale for me to write the review was that limited security deposit I had returned to me. With taking a full month to transition and clean between my new place, I cleaned the place thoroughly. When I checked out with a staff, we used an ipod which she was unfamiliar with using but indicated how clean the apartment looks. I had no infractions of any sort. However, when my deposit came back it was not what I expected at all. Cleaning fees and replacements of screens. Really? Why then wasn't this discussed at check out? Again the blame shifted on me. This is really demonstrating the greed versus putting residents/customers first. I can say that I have rented from other agencies such as Goldmark and have not had violations (nonexistent) like this. They were not willing to work with me.
