I lived here for about 2 1/2 years and it was one of the nicest apartments I've ever lived in. It's a brand new building so the furnishings are very modern, and having the washer/dryer hookup was nice. The bathroom was the biggest I've ever had in an apartment.
Having live-in property managers was also a plus because if there was an issue, they were generally pretty quick to address it. I'm quiet, clean, and follow the rules, and I had no problems with them.
I lived on the the third floor facing south and had a pretty decent view as views in Bismarck, North Dakota go. I could see the state capitol and fourth of July fireworks from my balcony. I also got direct sunlight in my unit all winter long.
As far as cons, I had more issues with noise in that building than anywhere I've ever lived. People being noisy in the parking lot in the middle of the night and waking me up, neighbors being ridiculous, and at one point a constantly barking dog. The property managers were pretty quick and responsive with the couple times I complained, but it was a regular problem.
The other big con for me was the air conditioner situation. They have window units installed in the wall and in my one bedroom apartment, the unit was in the living room. Air didn't circulate well into the bedroom, which meant my living room had to be frigid for it to be a comfortable sleeping temp in my bedroom.
Overall the pros far outweigh the cons. I loved living there and if I ever moved back to Bismarck, I would live there again.
I lived in these for 2 years and never had any issues maintenance was quick, easy, and very polite and nice everytime! But moving out was a different story when we checked out with the lady everything was in order, we handed in ALL of our keys we even had them nicely laid out on the counter for her there was only 2 of us living there our extra keys were always kept in a drawer in a baggie the entire time we lived there. The only TWO things that were agreed upon were some light cleaning and paint touch up but other wise everything she said was very clean and in order. Fast forward to getting our deposit back and breakdown in the mail and they took money out claiming we lost 4 keys? When we called, a guy named Kelly answered and was so rude and un helpful. We have never dealt with anything like this before in any other place we have lived. It just sucks we got charged for something that didnt even happen, complete scam.
Landlords are not lenient at all. Always complaining about something and one of the management people lives in the building. I would not recommend living here.
We are moving from out of state and were searching for the best deal on a 3 bed 2 bath apartment, when we found this place. They told us they had a vacancy on the first floor, pretty much exactly what we wanted. So we sent in our applications plus fees and deposit. Then two days before we start our journey halfway across country, we receive a text informing us that this particular unit we are about to move into, has no patio. Now I know, some of you are thinking that is the risk you take without personally viewing the unit, but all the websites showing this complex and their own site list balconies or patios as an amenity. So to me that should be something they would inform you of right from the start. So hopefully I can get them to drop at at least a $100.00 of our monthly rent, we shall see...
