Very helpful and expedient in the move-in process. Phase 2 apartment designs are nice and easy to look at.
Agent very pushy -- especially after telling him of the multitude of awful reviews I'd read of the place. Seemed like a teen environment, great for the first-time college set. I was looking for a more sociologically diverse neighborhood and a more mature-minded staff.
If youre a college student looking at signing a lease with Mill Creek Apartments, dont. The staff, particularly the management, is not there to help you. They are there to put people in apartments and get their money. That is it. They are not going to explain to you what kind of arrangement you are getting into. The main manager will not give you a copy of your lease. You have to ask for it. So, ask for it, but better yet, dont get an apartment with them. You will get screwed over if you end up with an incompatible roommate, even if they know their track record of turning in rent late. They will not explain to you the extent of the lease; that is between you and your roommate. When you do ask questions, they will be condescending and may or may not give you beneficial information. They fail to take their responsibility in notifying you of 90% of the legal matters you sign on for. So, if you do choose to sign a lease with Mill Creek Apartments, make sure you have a lawyer with you so you dont wind up stuck in a lease with a company that doesnt care about you or your personal safety.
Living here is the equivalent of opening up a card you receive in the mail on your birthday to find a touching message from your grandmother... but no cash. I have a roof over my head, but I'm not jumping for joy
**RENTER WARNING**1)Rent rates are a BAIT. starting rent @ $1199 for 3drm/2bth. renewal came around my rent was increasing to $1320. I called leasing and was advised that due to some upgrades the residence had to share the cost. I complained and they reduced it to an $80. increase. Yr 2, I received a renewal asking me to pay $1420. Again, was told by leasing it was due to the new fire pit, new grills, new community trash bin and new walkway, new lawn contractors and 2 new Millcreek signs. this is a $221 increase in 2yrs.2)The pictures online are a gimmicks. The countertops are laminate and so is the fake hardwood laminate floors. See Google Pics showing how the counters are cheap wood that when wet, expands and falls apart. Also, the wood counters easily start splitting from the wall. The beautiful white cabinets that they installed, the silver hardware included started to rust and the cabinets doors kept coming lose. Cheap wood. 3)Over the 2 yrs I have had 33 service requests. Now with new management they come out quick and on the same day. HOWEVER, everything they do is nothing but a BANDAID. My request includes leaky pipes. Failing washer and dryers, dishwasher falling out of wall, Roof leaks (Stains still on ceiling, never came back to paint), several troubles with heating / AC Unit., and disposal issues.4) BUGS & MORE BUGS. When I first move here, I thought it may have been due to the apt being empty. However, I soon came to learn from a Mill Creek Hired Exterminator it was the entire community. The exterminator admitted they property knew they had infestation issues w/ROACHES. Several of my neighbors in my building and friends in the old development have the same issue.5)MANAGEMENT, Rebecca the new property manager she is ALL POLICY, POLICY, POLICY. Not a friendly person and is very rude. Plus, forget them answering the phone. Never answer. However, if you call the 866#, select new resident, they pick up then. This is my 4apt community in 15yrs. this is worst
