VERY disappointed that cape Harbor did not return my over payment of June rent,and did not return my security. Took my money for the replacement of carpet stove top burner covers. They never put new carpet in when I became a tenant. Stated that the carpet was matted from my furniture. I took very good care of the apartment. Vacuumed weekly, no pets, only one person living in apartment. Cleaned the apartment thoroughly when I moved. For more than a year I was fighting large German cockroaches, had the exterminator weekly. Had to purchase sticky pads to capture the bugs @$3.98 a box. I never asked for repayment. Upgraded the rickety toilet seat. Bathroom wall over tub was not a solid wall,therefore, I was constantly cleaning the black residue was always dripping from the opening in the wall. After complaining about the wall, they said they could not close it.,did not feel comfortable taking a bath. After taking my money, they had the nerve to Send me a Bill for $76.00. Had to complain about people smoking, dogs barking, once the management company changed, they seem to be renting to anyone, garbage in breezeway, garbage and furniture, appliaces,etc on the ground around the garbage disposal system. On top of all of this,the rent kept increasing. I never missed a rent payment, and this is the way they treat a great tenant. I will never recommend this development. 2 years living there was more than enough
I enjoy living at Cape Harbor, it's in a decent location, well kept, and quiet. The maintenance team is excellent and quick to fix problems. My only complaint is I've been asked not to call the office when I believe packages have arrived, because an email will be sent to me, but rarely are the emails sent. I also don't like the online payment system, I think it could be upgrade and more user friendly.
The work going on is incredibly loud and there have been way too many owners of the property which has caused confusion to the residents especially on the portal side
