The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, a public research university, has offered student living to graduates and undergraduates since it was established in 1946. Student housing is available at each of the institutions four locations, which include the Charlotte Research Institute Campus, the Uptown Charlotte Campus, the South Charlotte Ballantyne Campus, and the main campus in University City, North Carolina.
