I've been with Stonegate now for 3 years. I live there by choice and I've found the staff to be personal, professional, caring people. The rent is reasonable and the services provided are outstanding.
One thing I would have to comment on is the staff here at Stone Gate. Everyone herel is very professional and great to be around. The first thing I noticed here is that the staff treated me like family from the moment I walked through the door. I feel like I live in an enormous house surrounded by family and friends. I have been in North Carolina for almost four years. I have lived at 6 different locations. Since I lived at StoneGate I have never wanted to live anywhere else. Maintenance Team A+
Recently, my husband PCS'd to Fort Bragg as I stayed behind to finish an assignment. My husband's apartment is located on the third floor. Two months ago, he signed up to be notified once a first level one bedroom became available. So today, I am in town for the four day for Labor Day. I called the leasing office and they told me someone just gave notice to move out on first level one bedroom. Remember we were signed up for notifications when one became available. He checked his email and there was no email. So I went into the office with my Power of Attorney asking for the first level one bedroom. Amber, the front desk clerk and Jennifer, the community manager gave me a difficult time. Amber told me that her manager said that my husband needed to be called before he could move. Military have unpredictable schedules and travels where we have to get Power of Attorney for our families in the event that the service member or in this case. And of course, he could not be reached. I called him twenty times. He finally answered and I said please answer the phone for Stone Gate. Amber took her time to call back and I told her please call back because his time window to be able to talk is very narrow. I never saw Jennifer because when I asked to speak with her, Amber told me as soon as she is done with her phone call, she will speak to me. She never came to speak with me. Both my husband and I have been deployed numerous occasions at different times and never have I ever been told that, "Ma'am, we have to call your husband to ask him if this is ok". Completely disregarding the notarized Power of Attorney. I believe that Amber and Jennifer do not know how Power of Attorneys work and I would go as far to say that do not know how the Servicemember Civil Relief Act works either. Amber and Jennifer you do not have to contact anoyone to confirm a POA. It is a legal document set in place in absence. The light at then end of the tunnel is that Edwin came to speak to an emotional me.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LIVING AT STONE GATE!! I have been here for a few months. As a military spouse, we move quite often. In my experience, the move in process was near effortless. The ladies in the office are extremely knowledgeable and make us feel like we are truly home! We did have one maintenance concern in the apartment and it was taken care of almost immediately. The trash service has been up and down but the manager seems to be working to fix that. If you are moving to Fort Bragg, you have to at least check it out, you will not be disappointed.
