7-Month, 12-Month, 21-Month
I had an absolutely HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE living at the Vie at Raleigh for 8 months, and it was a direct result of the terrible management. In addition to the fact that the units themselves sub-par are not cleaned before move-in, the staff there has a complete disregard for their residents satisfaction. During my last two months there, my air conditioning unit broke SEVEN times!!! It took several calls on my part to even get anyone to come look at the unit each time, and it turns out that they were putting a temporary solution on the AC every single time, which resulted in it breaking again within 3 days of them "fixing" it. This happened 7 times in a span of two months, and I lived the entire months of June and July essentially without air conditioning. I then attempted to speak with management about the issue, and they completely ignored me for 3 weeks despite me calling, leaving voicemails,and sending emails EVERY SINGLE DAY. It took me personally going down to the office 3 separate times just to talk to the person I need to talk to. Then, when I finally did get contact with the manager, it was evident that they simply do not care about customer service, They disregarded the fact that they ignored me for three weeks, and refused to comply with my request for compensation for the issue that they caused. They were rude because they didn't want to deal with complaints and refused to acknowledge that it was their fault my air conditioning was intentionally not fixed AND that they were purposely unavailable to a resident in need of services. I would steer everyone far away from this horrible place. DO NOT live here.
They have completely terrible customer service! They do not honor their promotions, and they charge you for everything! They will charge you if you decide to have someone sublease your apartment, they will raise your apartment rate every year by $80, and $100 if you renew Yule your old short term lease.Also it's not really a clean environment except for the clubhouse. I stay there and when signing my lease I was promised a free months rent for my birthday month. When my birthday month rolled around it seemed as if I was speaking a foreign language. They did not honor nor care about how the brand ambassadors confirm that I would get a free month's rent as well. They informed me that it did not matter. Their property manager as well as their account manager is never in the office unless you decide to stop by. If you were to call them with a problem they will never answer their phone nor call you back if you left a message. This apartment complex regardless of it being student housing is the worst mistake I've ever made! They have plenty of bad reviews and I did not take notice to them when moving in. Now I'm regretful that I did not pay attention to the bad reviews before moving in. If I were you I would advise you to find a different housing complex and or student housing.
I have lived here for about 3 years now and nothing has changed. You could say that it actually got worse thought out the time. They have tried to make me pay late fees for payments that they messed up. The online payments have a huge charge and most of the time won't actually work. Everyone who works here has been no help and rude in one form. I have had people who worked here and were contracted through them just walk right into my apartment without informing us about them coming by. I also wish that they would have better leasing options for students. I have lost so much of my time, money, energy, and sanity at this place.

Never trust the management. They took me to collection and I never dealt with them before. Very difficult to get hold of them and the management never speaks to you. they always directs you to a an answering machine and never get back to you. don't ever trust them with your information.
My son went to live in Vie on August 8th, the first impression of the apartments was very dirty, after complaining several times they did not even clean the balcony nor the room with washingmachine nor dryer! If they were supposed to prepare the apts for newcomers, they should have made a list of broken furniture and have them changed before newcomers move in! Im really upset how many forms he had to fill in, conditions, rules but Vie does not fulfill expectations from their side. After 3 weeks living there the swimming pool is not yet open!!! They only lease for 12 months, but not 10 months which is the usual academic year, they promised to sublease the last 2 months before summer 2018, lets hope this works, because we do not want to pay for 2 months more without living there! A 10 months option should be available when talking about students! Thank you and best regards
