the crew at VLB is the best that I've dealt with in a long time. they treat me with respect. they are very understanding and value not just me but my life and trying to get back on my feet. I've relocated from Maryland and I could not have found a more nourishing community to start over.

Apartments are beautiful with alot of space. Community is so quiet. I am really pleased with the choice I've made.
Everyone on the Lake Boone Trail team is amazing, from the office staff to the maintenance dudes. Couldn't ask for a better situation. Parking is sometimes a little bit of a hassle (since some units have 3 cars and then a trailer that just kind of sits there and never moves), and there are a few places (behind the apartments) where grass could grow but isn't. Other than that, we love this place.
Location is good, quiet ( except for a little construction noise), maintenance is excellent and staff is friendly and helpful.
What is a Certified Resident?
A resident who lives at the property and has completed a resident satisfaction survey.
Advertising properties provide a list of email addresses of its residents to Kingsley Associates, a third party market research firm, who then sends out the satisfaction survey to the residents. Properties may also conduct satisfaction surveys of its residents through other third party market research firms. In those cases, we will publish those survey responses as long as the questions conform to our standard survey format.
Because reviews are from Certified Residents, and are managed by a third party, you can feel confident that the feedback provided is accurate and trustworthy.
From I-440 Take the Lake Boone Trail Exit (Exit #5). Go right off the exit (you will see a Starbucks and Chick Fil-A on your right). The Villages at Lake Boone Trail will be 1/2 mile on the right, just before Rex Hospital. From I-40 Take Wade Avenue/I-40 to the Blue Ridge exit. Go left off of the exit. The North Carolina Museum of Art will be on your right. Stay on Blue Ridge until you reach Lake Boone Trail, then take a right. Rex Hospital is on your left and so is the entrance to The Villages of Lake Boone Trail.
