Quiet complex, staff always helpful and timely.
Staff is friendly and helpful, maintenance is quick and well done. The landscaping is well maintained. I am always treated with courtesy and concern for my well-being. Rules are maintained equally for everyone and I feel safe and comfortable here.
I like the area. The grounds are always clean and there is not much noise at all. The apartments are spacious the neighborhood feel safe and the unit does come with a washer and dryer. My biggest peeve about this apartment is that I think that the units are overpriced. I live in a one-bedroom and the rent is around $950. However, I toured other apartments in more convenient areas and with more updated appliances that were around the same price or maybe $10 to $20 more. For the price of this apartment, I believe the countertops, dishwasher, and cabinets should be updated. The apartment does not come with a microwave, as most apartments do. The interior doors, closets, sinks, and shower are obviously old and there is no installed lighting in the bedroom or the living room. Therefore you have to buy lamps for the two main areas that you are likely to be in. Also, they charge a trash fee and a pest control fee each month, which is fine, but the complex only has one big dumpster for the whole community. It can be a pain when you have heavy or a lot of trash. Also, since I have moved here only a few months ago, I have seen bugs (like cockroaches) in and around my apartment. I have also had issues with parking in front of my complex. Residents across the street frequently park in front of my apartment when room runs out in front of theirs. Additionally, there is only a swimming pool for amenities, the pool is small and it is secluded. I really think there should be a fitness center here at least for me to feel like I'm getting my money's worth. In the end I chose this apartment because I had to move quickly and they accepted me quickly. However, if I had a chance to do it over I would move elsewhere. Save your money and move in the Brier Creek area closeby where there are apartments within the same price range that are more appealing, updated, and the amenities are better.
maintenance is a joke, complaints go no where
I've been here for 3 years with 3 price hikes and no improvement. The only 'amenities' are an old pool with no lights, a cracked and decaying tennis court and a vaguely open space for a 'dog park'. The office team might as well be replaced with robots since we switch to new office managers every year (or more often, I stopped paying attention to them) and with every new manager a new rent hike. For the extra rent, could we maybe see something like a fitness center or -something- to coincide?
