Lake Johnson has the perfect blend of outdoor activities and also close to any store you may need. Its the best of both worlds. We feel secluded next to a beautiful lake, and everything else is just a short drive away.
Living at Lake Johnson has been beyond all expectations- I was excited to live along the lake, but the staff and community have been a huge bonus as well.
It's a great neighborhood with something like Lake Johnson right besides it. The lake trail is amazing. People are friendly including the management staff. Very well managed. Kudos!
My first month living at Lake Johnson Mews in a 1 bedroom apartment has been a mostly good experience. We have had a few maintenance issues, but they all were taken care of the day I put in a request to fix them. I am happy with the closet space and size of the rooms, though the kitchen could be a little bigger. The location next to Lake Johnson and less than ten minutes from NCSU is great for me. The only real problem with living here is that the adjoining walls between apartments are not very soundproof which can be a problem if you have loud neighbors.
I like the apartments, I just think the rent goes up too much each year, especially when pay is going down.
