I have already expressed to everyone I know looking for apartments to never rent from Atria or other Bainbridge properties &I HIGHLY suggest you avoid their business as well. My experience, if you choose to read through my entire angry rant ( full version on Google reviews) shows they have zero respect for your time & your requests that are completely rational as a paying renter. Short version of why this was the worst experience Ive had is the following:
2. Maintenance cutting two large holes in my bedroom sheetrock ¬ fixing it for nearly 2 months despite multiple service requests &phone calls.
3. It took 3 months &5 days to return my security deposit, despite there being no issues with the apartment when we left, my calling nearly every 2 weeks &their constant empty promises to get back to me (they never did)/ it had already been sent (it hadnt even been written)/ it was already paid out (not the case).
The apartment above mine had their hot water heater bust on a Thursday and I was never contacted nor was my apartment checked for flood damage. I arrived home from work in DC at 11pm Friday night to find my apartment flooded. It was Monday at 3:55 pm before anyone from Atria maintenance even came to look at my apartment. They had sent a floor extraction company to handle the carpet over the weekend and that was it. Not once did I even get an apology from the front office staff. Typical renter's insurance has a $500 deductible and I am even fine with paying that myself. However they won't even let me break my lease 16 days early which I find unacceptable along with their lack of apology, especially given that they made the situation much worse by not notifying me or checking my apartment.
Love my apartment but the work here is horrible! I live in Raleigh NC at the atria apartments! I am alway having problems with my apartment.... this here is a pic of my patio door.... they didn't think to communicate to me what? When? What's wrong with it? Instead they let the contractor in my apartment with out giving me heads up into my apartment and let them work on it! So now I have no place to go ( I have major respiratory problems) and they can't commentate with me where On what I should do or go for this weekend and the following dates they are working on my apartment. They told me i would need to speak to the manger on Monday July 10 to help me with my issues!!!!! They are horrible on communication and caring for the residents that live there. Half of the time the employees don't even know the answer to your questions!
I've been here sense October! I've had all of the following replace:
A/c problems numerous of times fix
Kitchen counter top replace
Washer and dry
Stove hood fell down and fixed
Alway having bug problems
Not to mention this problem with my patio door and the wood. First time they put paint over it even though it was not fixed and now this happened once again but even worse with the photos I listed down below! If you fixed it right the 1st time non of this would not have happened!
I've called the Headquarters of Bainbridge Friday and I talk to some lady and some guy Larry they told me was supposed to call that day but he still has not called me at all to solve this issue this is very unprofessional and I really am not happy! The apartment complex and the main headquarters people that are in charge of this have really bad communication and obviously don't care about the residents ( that's has no place to stay) that lives there !
