Terrible Terrible. We had only been here 10 days and the service here is awful. The apts are nothing like they say. For starters we were told we would be getting a remodeled apartment with a microwave. Nothing about it is remodeled and we dont have a microwave. Nothing was fixed. Stove doesnt work properly. It took the office days just to get maintenance to fix what shouldve been fixed before we moved in and things still arent working. Apt was dirty filled with cob webs and dead roaches. The first day we moved in we had a clogged toilet filled with feces and bugs. Dirty windows filled with dust and cob webs. Dirty patio with con webs everywhere. Dusty vents. The tub fills up when you take a shower. Paint stuck on the wood floors. The dishwasher doesnt dry. It was like they painted the walls, put new carpet, and left. Terrible painting and carpet job btw. Trash all around the apt and in the woods. Trash under the stairwell. Extremely dirty on the outside of the Apt including doors and walls. Neighbors have food out on the ground and not picking it up. Its just awful here honestly and management absolutely sucks. Wouldnt recommend this apt complex at all. Save your money and make sure you see the actual apt youre moving into before you move in. You will be bamboozled and finessed out of your money. It needs to be legal action taken against this complex seriously.

Excellent staff. Quiet property. Dog friendly. Convenient location.

My husband and I unfortunately lived here from July 2019 to May 2020. We did not have time to properly vet the area before moving and chose this place based up reviews online, BIG MISTAKE. Our apartment was well below average compared to other complexes in the area, no matter how much we cleaned the apartment was constantly full of spiders and occasionally roaches, and the washer/dryer only worked half the time and never fully dried clothes. We gave up on work orders and contacting the office as they take weeks to respond no matter what you need and have on more than one occasion said they never received our messages even though we called and emailed multiple times. In the process of terminating our lease early in order to find a more suitable place to live I was notified that they could not talk to me about the lease because only my husband was on the lease, which was completely false as I had been put on the lease months earlier and proves to me that they are not capable of managing paperwork. On top of the issues we had living there, the move out process has been beyond atrocious. We played 2 months rent as a buy out fee and sent our intent to vacate and tried calling several times and it took their office several WEEKS to get back to us. Then, after we already turned in the keys and paid our final months rent they contacted us a week later asking for the keys which we already turned in. Then, they sent us a bill for the next months rent when our lease had been terminated. Now, we have received yet another bill from this company for "damages" that they gave no details about. ZERO COMMUNICATION and a total lack of respect for their tenants.

Water and mold issues

The apartment complex was bought out by Arium within the last year or so, so consider older reviews of the property obsolete. Overall: The atmosphere is great. Location (by Lake Johnson and a walking trail and close to NC State's campus) is great. The new staff? Terrible. Check out the recent 1 star reviews on Google, they're right. I have lived here for just over 2 years and I have seen the before and after. - It's impossible to get help with maintenance issues, and the front desk will flat out lie to your face that someone is "coming" or that your problem is "a priority". Simple issues have taken weeks to be addressed (if fixed at all). - I'm nervous every time a package is delivered. The owners before Arium had a flawed system, but these people are even worse. You MAY get an email when a package arrives, and if you get an email they MAY be able to find your package (or know you have one). I have watched them hand the wrong package to a tenant when he came in and gave his apartment number. - Theyve messed up my paperwork, bills, and insurance. If you move here, GET THINGS IN WRITING because it'll save your bank account. - Compared to everything else, it seems a small issue to say no one is friendly. The front office staff makes it clear it doesnt care about your issue. The maintenance people are fine but not half as friendly as the previous staff. Not saying this to be rude, I honestly dont think the employees know what theyre doing, or how to run an apartment complex. Honestly, its not worth the hassle of living here. Theres another (non-Arium) apartment complex nearby, check that one out. Or maybe go find something Bell Property Management still owns.
