I truly can't imagine anyone who rents at this community renews their lease for a second term. I choose this apartment because I loved the look and location and didnt want to have to move after my lease ran out. Unfortunately, as you can see from all the other terrible reviews, 712 Tucker has some incredibly serious health, safety and communications concerns.
1) The fire alarms go off monthly, if not more frequently (conveniently happens in the middle of the night and go on for about an hours before someone turns them off). This is obviously a huge concern to the safety of all residents. When I brought this concern to the management they said it was something we just had to deal with. The management then sent out extremely rude emails to residents asking us not to contact them when the alarms go off.
2) It takes months for the management at 712 Tucker to fix serious safety concerns. The garage doors were stuck in an open position, allowing anyone to enter the property. This resulted in a few people having their cars broken into. The issue continued for at least 2-3 weeks before they had anyone out to fix it. Additionally, there was a hole in the ceiling dripping musty water for over a month. We had to walk past this multiple times a day to walk our dog and we were concerned about why nobody was trying to fix it.
3) They are obsessive about the valet trash. The trash company sometimes "forgets" to pick up your trash and if you leave it out past 9AM 712 Tucker management will fine you a $25 fee. So, if you ever take a sick day or want to sleep in, be sure to set your alarm for 8:50AM to pick up your trash can so you don't get fined.
There are other concerns with the actual property, which you can find through a quick Google search of other reviews. Please consider before renting at 712 Tucker.
Great property. Everyone super friendly, professional, and responsive.
Generally okay; however, there are consistent issues with the fire alarms going off every few months and maintenance still hasn't fixed some issues with community areas (ie grills) in the entire time I've lived here.
Grounds are often dirty. Items, such as doors, often do not work. Valet trash is expensive and not useful. We have trash rooms, and legs to walk. Trash in halls also makes it smell. It is often overly noisy at night. There is smoking on the grounds, often and visible, even though "non-smoking" property.
I have been a resident for about two years and love the location as well as the apartment in which I reside. The staff is always helpful and responsive to any problems that need to be addressed.
