    Avoid at all costs. Walls are paper thin. If you are on first or second floor apartment, you will hear each step the person above you takes. They refuse to put carpet back down after renovating an apartment and do not have the proper padding between floors to lessen the noise

    Renters beware!!! This place may look nice on the outside but it is all smoke and mirrors. My husband and youngest son moved in the middle of August 2019. They were here on brand new blow up mattresses and linens that they purchased to hold them over until we sold our home in CA. About a week in they started to get bitten up by something in the apartment. My husband told Jamie at the front desk of the issue and that he "thinks" they we getting bitten by fleas. Key word is thinks! She told my husband, that's weird, the tenants before you did not have pets. She sent one of their maintenance staff to spray for fleas. I have personally talked to one of their maintenance crew and they told me they are not trained to determine what type of bugs are infested in the apartments. They explained that should be handled by an expert that knows what to look for when a tenant complains of being bit up. Never once did they check to see if it might be something else. Well guess what? The bugs biting my family were freaking bedbugs. I had never even seen one before this happened to us. This all could have been avoided had they taken the proper protocol by hiring a specialist to look into the matter. But no, send in someone to spray flea spray that did not rectify the issue. You would think that an apartment complex manager would seek out all possibilities, especially since there were no pets prior to us moving in. Mind you, the apartment was completely empty when this occurred. They are incompetent. The management could care less if another renter is going against the leasing agreement that we all sign. Residents leave their dog's crap everywhere and I mean everywhere. Even when you show them pictures/videos of said renters violating their renters agreement, they could careless. Telling them that their residents are smoking on premises when this is a smoke free community falls on deaf ears. Even their grounds crew and maintenance crew smokes on premises and they too don't pick u

    Corland morrison plantation came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. Apartment living is highly dense but somehow CMPs design team had a winning idea with the community layout that takes geart advantage of the natural beauty on the surrounding area. We go to sleep listening to the wildlife and we wake to beautiful birds and fowl soaring just above or bathing in the cortland pond. Great exercise room and pool complement the amenity package. You might find cheaper but you wont find better. BH

    Living here has been a dream come true! I have more praises than complaints. The front office staff are wonderful and super helpful. Theyll go out of their way to accommodate your needs and answer all of your questions. The maintenance crew is also top notch. They repair any issues in a timely manner...and I havent had many issues except for pest control and I did have an electrical outlet that was non functional. I was able to rent extra exterior storage to store my overflow that doesnt fit in my apartment...like my valet trash can that were not allowed to leave by our door anymore. Im grateful the storage closet is right in front of my door for this reason. I do wish that the rule to not leave them out in the breezeways would be enforced because there are a lot offenders. Minor issues are parking...sometimes the lot is too full. There are garages but people use them for storage instead of parking. Some people park their RVs and jet skis in the parking lot which can be unsightly. There is no recycling program and I was told there was one when I moved in... they do recycle cardboard but everything else is considered trash. The community is a smoke free community but I see cigarette butts in the landscaping and I can smell someone smoking in my building. I dont know where its coming from but the signage and announcements arent solving the issue. One last issue is noise transfer between floors, but not walls. I can hear my upstairs neighbor stomping around every morning at 5 am. It at least makes for a good alarm clock but I dont like to wake up that early. I really hope that my rent rate doesnt increase too much when renewal time comes because Id love to continue calling Sorrel Morrison Plantation home! This place has beyond exceeded my expectations.

    Sorrel Plantation is a greAt place to live. They have great amenities, community events to meet your neighbors, safe, and clean. The management team is professional, friendly, and courteous.
