The maintenance absolutely horrible! If you have no ac and your apartment is 85 degrees you may have to call 8 times for them to send someone out. They do not care and are in no hurry to fix your issue. And when they do send someone to fix it dont expect it to actually get fixed. You will have to call and they will have to come back atleast 3 times to fix it. They do not professionals to fix anything. They just pay the cheapest maintenance guy they can find on the street. Maintenance here is pathetic
This place is a joke. I loved it when I first moved here because it is quite and no one really bothers you. However, when I first moved in 2 years ago, the vacuum in the "car care center" didn't work. Low and behold, it still doesn't. One of the charcoal grills broke a year ago and hasn't been replaced. There is a gas grill at the pool but you can't use it unless the pool is open. Other apartments keep the pool deck open for access to this, but nope, not here. We were without air for a week in August. Took so long because they had to special order the part bc the unit was 20 years old. If you like simple living, this place is ok, but has no freaking amenities. Trees are down all over the place and the grass is super long. The dog park is a joke. The upgraded apartments are also a joke. Cabinets were painted crappy instead of replaced and are drooping. The painters are HORRIBLE and there are paint splatters everywhere. Honestly I'm not sure my apartment was painted before I moved in bc there was so much crap on the walls. They need a REAL remodel, not just some paint and new floors. Other apartments in the area are comparable in price but so much nicer. There is no gym here, we have one gas grill we can never use bc it's at the pool, one charcoal grill as others broke and were never replaced. Car care center is a joke. Ugh I could go on and on.
Horrible communication I been living here for two years and from day one I have had issues with my monthly charges being accurate. No one seems to be able to correct the issue and I've never been late not once but every month I have a late fee.

we are very pleased with Matthews Pointe. We love our apartment the lay out and the laundry hook ups in unit are a very nice feature. We have had only a few minor issues which were taken care of promptly. The outside is well kept and love the green space as we are sounded by trees. We like that is central to so many places shopping, food, work yet off of the busy independence drive. The staff is very friendly, helpful and easy to approach. We are really glad we made Matthews Pointe our choice when relocating from Wisconsin. Jeff L
