I have lived at this complex for almost 2 years. The cleanliness and resort style living is fantastic! This gated community is surrounded by a quiet and tranquil wooded area that can be enjoyed by an astonishing 4 dog parks! After enjoying that, the pool is in its own class of awesome. Stamped colored concrete with plenty of comfy chairs and cabanas with TVs music and lit up water streamers, is this a home or a vacation? Ever since I fell in love with this place and their awesome staff, I can't think of living in another place.
The Grove at Kernersville has really spacious apartments and a well kept landscape. The gym and facilities are well maintained, and all the staff have been helpful and friendly. The apartments are isolated in a rural part of town, but are less than 15 minutes away from local grocery store and shopping. A little on the pricey side, but they are still relatively new apartments!
I've been living at The Grove at Kernersville since shortly after it opened. Since the new property management team took over last year there has been a significant decline in the quality of tenants. The increasing smell of marijuana and drug sales occurring in and around the 400 and 500 buildings is unacceptable. The drug sales and loud noise coming from apartments and the parking lot at all hours of the night remind me of my younger days working in the projects. Despite these problems being brought to the property management's attention and my identifying the persons and apartment responsible for drug use and drug sales, the only response I have received to date is "we are aware of the problem." It must be comforting to know that you're aware of the sale and use of illegal drugs on your property but you fail to evict those responsible for breaking/violating the terms of their lease. Since the quality of tenants has steadily declined and nothing has been to address those selling drugs out of their apartments, I will not be extending my lease when the opportunity comes up in a few months.
Sometimes they do not fix things on a timely matter
I love it here. Only problem is everything is a little tall for me. Need a step ladder for kitchen and have to sit on edge of tub to exit.
