Community in decline. Old chipped cabinetry, mold in windows. Re Carroll is not investing much here. Lawns are nice, gates always broken, interesting people in the office parking lot after dark.
Apts are dated. Maintenance Staff is quick & friendly. Gates are always broken. Office Staff is friendly & mostly helpful, depending on whom you get that day. Playground currently in process of being replaced. Never been to pool/gym/tennis courts. Grounds are kept up with. Average size rooms, Frig, Dishwasher, Etc, what you would expect in an apt. Not really located near places to eat, but quick access to I-85 & Jamestown, NC. Overall satisfied with my choice in apts for our short 1-yr stay.
I have been leasing with BSV for almost 6 months now and I have not had any issues. The staff is friendly, maintenance comes when you fill out the form or when they are called and the neighborhood is quiet. Awesome place to rent and size is also nice for the price.
Poor property management. They do not work with you or fight for you. Be careful about the water bill.
Poor Property Management and Poor Communication - There was a leak in my apartment that I was unaware of. The company that is in charge of the water bill noticed that my water meter read extremely high for a month. Once I got the water bill (over $300). I was told to contact the water company for investigation. Apparently, there was a big leak and it was fixed without me even knowing what had happened. No one from the water company nor the leasing office contacted me about this issue. When I inquired about the water bill (Over $300), I was told that I was responsible for that amount. Which is very unfair. Even after escalating this issue to the regional manager and water company, they state that they will not issue credit or help in other ways. For other tenants, please be aware of your water bill. For people that are looking for an apartment, please avoid Broadstone Village. Their customer service and management is poor. Please find somewhere else to stay. You pay for what you get.
