The heights has been a wonderful place to live over the past year. The facilities are always very well taken care of and the maintenance quick. A special shoutout to Brian in the leasing office, who is incredibly hard-working and helped my roommate and I from start to finish of our lease, always has a smile on his face and truly makes apartment living that much more enjoyable.
I have nothing but great things to say about living here! The property is well maintained, dog-friendly, and the staff who work here are incredible. Coming from New England, I don't know how I would be able to deal with the summers down here if I didn't have central AC and an incredible pool to lay out by! Bryan in the leasing office has been beyond helpful and an indispensable resource to me for the past year! Whenever I have a question or an issue, I know that I can go to him for help and answers. When my 2 br lease ran up, he was incredible in helping me find a 1 br unit for a short-term lease since I do not know if I will stay in NC once I am done with nursing school. This apartment complex is a 20 min walk to the hospital and a 25 min walk to school, along with being a short driving distance to downtown and plenty of great eateries and breweries.
I literally love this place. Its very homey and a great quiet place to live. I have lived here over a year and just renewed my lease for another year. I feel at home whenever I come which is more important. The staff made it a point to know who the residents are and are wonderful at communication. Mr. Holloway is always warm and welcoming, as well has outstanding customer service. If it were if it were not for him i probably would not have renewed my lease, just having graduated college i was a little worried about renewing, he sat down with me and went over my options, and answered all the questions that I may have had. He also knows how to get the job done. Coming from a customer service background this is most important to me. For when I have a issue I know that IT will never be a problem getting IT done with him. This place is close to everything food wise. And very close to downtown Durham. If your in college or even in your career this place is great and very quiet.
Every person on the leasing office staff is rude. Its impossible to walk in and find someone who doesn't have an attitude. Also the rules they enforce are ridiculously absurd to the point where you can't even enjoy the amenities. For example you need a wristband to go to the pool and no guests are allowed on the weekends. This complex claims to be dog friendly but are only dog tolerant! One staff member yelled in my face repeatedly about my dog who did absolutely nothing wrong. The community is also filled with college aged tenants who are loud and disrespectful of the property, leaving trash and beer bottles everywhere. If you enjoy noisy neighbors and disrespect then maybe this is the place for you.
Management staff creates and enforces policies that alienate tenants.
