everyone who works here is very friendly and helpful. things are dealt with well and maintained! great value for the money we pay.
I have lived here for 15 months now and I can say I have had no problems. The staff has been great addressing any of my concerns promptly. I feel very safe and secure here. They do a good job enforcing the rules on all tenants especially pet owners. They have social events that allow you to meet other tenants. I would recommend this community to all that I know.
-the grounds are covered in dog poop because they don't ever have enough dog poop bags which are supposed to be included in the rent
-maintenance comes quickly and is nice but is nearly useless. Anything more than a clogged drain or tiny leak and you will need to put in many work orders before they get it.
-I've had cockroaches for the last eight months. They didn't do anything for the first three when I finally stopped in the office completely frustrated they blamed me for not knowing that they wanted me to pack up half of my belongings so that they could spray my whole cabinets. I had gotten no note, no emails, no calls, no texts, no nothing from them telling me I needed to do this.
-My employer wanted to pay part of the rent. They have been doing this for their employees for 10 years. This lovely place was the ONLY one that would not let them pay part of my rent.
- Their new portal messed up my bank account information and therefore rent was late but that was okayish because it was the first month with this new portal. Recently (like 4 months in) I paid my rent but it never recorded it and now I can't pay my rent because they refuse to accept my bank account now. But you need to call them to know this. Also they have now threatened eviction because their portal is crap.
-This is not a gated community. The gates have never worked more than 3 weeks consecutively in the year and a half I've lived here.
I'm now counting the days until I can leave this place. I've lived in nice places managed by nicer people in the ghetto.
My job has required a lot of moving, so I've lived in a lot of apartments over the last 20 years. Featherstone Village has been the best experience of them all. This is the cleanest, most well-maintained apartment I've had, along with the quietest neighbors. I have easy access to Raleigh, Durham, and Cary. It's right off the Interstate, but I can't hear or see the traffic! I see lots of trees and have a good view of the sunrise. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I love it here.
I like it, it's affordable and i feel at home
