Overall the community is well kept. There is room for improvement in regards to upkeep. The windows on the outside of the buildings needs to be cleaned desperately. The rod iron needs to be repainted, sidewalks pressure washed, dumpster areas better maintained and lastly residents need to be held accountable for not hanging clothes on balconies and leaving trash for several days on balconies.
After living there 14 months, paying over $1100/month, giving 60 days notice, and leaving the apartment cleaner than when I moved in, I get a terse little email stating I owe them and addition $338 for water/garbage/sewer and 7 days into the next month... and, after having 4 roof leaks, and having to clean up after each one, and them using my electricity for 4-5 days running 3-4 dehumidifiers and blowers around the clock, there was/is no consideration for that? Or the inconvenience? I guess the feel the roof leafs were my problem and they helped me out with that... eh? Read and study the 14-15 page lease carefully... there was nothing in it at the time I signed about "early termination", yet they will try and stick you with it if they can. Five thumbs down on this one folks!
I rate Worthington Luxury Apartments as average for the following reasons:
. The Office Staff needs to be more personable with Residents. They are often short (rushed-not friendly) with residents.
. There have been new personnel assisgned to the office and turnover in maitnenance staff, however, no notification to residents has made.
. It appears to be disorganized.
.Alarm went off at 5:00 AM with fire trucks, no notification about the alarm to residents.
The trash area is always filthy and unsanitary. The grounds are littered with cigarette butts on any given day. Trash from fast food restaurants is often strewn across the community area. Some of the office staff are indifferent, if not impolite. One office staff worker in particular.
Unprofessional staff - Staff does not enforce any rules to residents - residents run this place and are running it into the ground.
Driving through the complex (or even walking) is very dangerous with speeding residents
There are dog droppings everywhere
The late night phone service is never turned on
The rent rates go WAY too high if you don't renew for a year - they do not care about resident happiness at all.
The staff only cares about getting people in - once youre here - respect is gone
