I've lived here almost a year and can't wait until we move out. The trash is always full and you get charged for trash every month. Never anywhere to park near my apartment. Pest control is charged monthtly I have never seen them and I have alarm I know if anyone enters. Air filters not once in 10 months has anyone changed. My range is from 1990 but my rent is from 2020. Garbage disposal has broken multi times. My guest tub we have called over 10 times because paint keeps falling off. AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST>

This is really a beautiful place to live with a few exceptions. Living in my building throwing away waste is really an adventure. The Receptacles are too far if you dont have a car youre in trouble. When you receive packages from the post office you must go in a different building to get them. No one calls you to tell you the package is there. What I dont understand to save the life of me is the office people just let the tenants just go in and get their own packages. How do they know that the package is theirs we all know everybody is not as honest. The last thing is if you request someone to bring the package to you. Like ( the Maintenance man). He expects to be paid. Other then those things the apartment is great. When you come to view it ask questions, I would not want you to be surprised.

I have lived here for 2.5 years. While their on site management is good to work with. The corporate Office is the worst! I had a mistake with my bank and having a late direct debit made for payment of rent. I requested that they waive the late fee (Not the NSF mistake from my bank) because I was not aware of the bank problem until after the 5th. However, all they've been doing lately is nickel and diming you to death. The last time I requested to waive a late fee was December 2016 period two years ago. Unbelievable treatment for long-time tenant

Great location but that is the only good thing about this place! The apartments are REALLY old. Management should realize that you can only re-paint over and over so much. These apartments are old and need a TOTAL renovation. Water drains to the sinks and showers constantly get clogged, cockroaches and ants are everywhere inside and outside of the apartments, the laundry room is old and the machines need replacing and the entire carpet in the gym/laundry area needs to be replaced (it is soiled and disgusting!) The maintenance person uses a blower to blow dirt out of the exterior hallways. All this does is blow the fort around and cause dust/dirt to fill the halls so residents cant breathe! (And the dust takes days to clear!). How about actually hiring someone to scrub the hallways and get rid of the dirt instead?? The hallways are absolutely disgusting and no one seems to think cleaning them is important enough. Funny how the utility bills increase every year without explanation and a phony admin charge is billed each month. To save money and lower some of the ridiculous non-essential costs, management should stop waisting so much paper putting notices in mailboxes every day and use email! And finally, the office staff. Yes, they respond to your inquiries but they really are of no help. They blame their corporate office for every resident complaint and never take responsibility themselves. Depending on what day it is, they can sometimes be friendly while other times, they have attitudes. I prefer to just not interact with them. These apartments have been around for a long time and it's a shame that management would rather spend money renovating the lobby area where they work instead of making necessary improvements to the actual apartment units and the grounds (the pool is especially old!). And for those units that have gotten a 'make-over'...don't be fooled. The changes are all cosmetic.

I cab easily afford a home in Charlotte. I own several homes in other cities I live in. Post makes life easy, comfortable and gives peace of mind. So why own here if you have Post Ballantyne.
