Love this place. By far the best apartment my roommate and I have lived in. The look of the apartments is really clean and modern, everything brand new. Courtyard looks gorgeous - we have a view from our balcony! Love the staff and amenities, but my favorite would be the location, because I like that literally everything I need is in a 3-block walk (even in painful heels, 5-7 min walk to everything, including all my favorite bars and restaurants). SO GREAT!! My roommate likes it so much she's had her boyfriend apply, and he's coming here too.
Great location, love the sky club lounge!
Amazing staff, super quick with responding to maintenance requests, and super convenient location with easy access to highays/restaurants/stores
I fell in love with this place as soon as I was greeted by the staff! They are extremely friendly and gracious hosts! I moved in about 3 months ago and enjoy all the area has to offer, 2 grocery stores, over 25 retailers, and several bars and restaurants! You will not be disappointed in this complex!! love it!
The good: New complex still undergoing final stages of opening so everything is brand new. Located between Elizabeth and Plaza Midwood. Close to the restaurants and bars located along Central, Pecan etc. Harris Teeter is within walking distance.
The bad: Despite this being a fairly expensive building, the complex seems to be dominated by twenty somethings who are still living out the college life. On weekends the pool is akin to spring break: overcrowded, excess alcohol, too loud music, cups and trash left behind etc. Today there was a couple in heavy make out mode in the still to open courtyard hammocks. If you are a family with children, you may want to think twice if you are planning on using the pool and courtyard or before leasing an apartment with a view of pool/courtyard.
While the onsite management is pleasant enough and does take action when necessary, many issues with construction such as having the building unsecure for many weeks and compensation for power issues just results in blank stares or pat answers.
There also isn't really a 'good side' to the building. You are either looking into the very cramped interior courtyard/pool where you can basically see into your neighbors' apartments or you overlook the train (which runs at all hours and shakes the building, even if you aren't overlooking the tracks), Central Ave, a parking lot or a factory.
Finally, with construction on the bridge on Hawthorne expecting to take over 18 months, the traffic on Central will be heavier than usual.
