Staff was friendly and informative about the complex during my tour however the buildings need some TLC. mold on outside and some screens were bent

I have been reporting an air-conditioning problem in my apartment since Saturday evening. Maintenance worker never showed up until Monday morning. Although the guy that fixed my air was nice the issue was still not fixed. By Tuesday morning at 5:00am I woke up to a sweltering apartment. I called again and another very nice worker showed up to fix the problem. By 9pm the same evening the air was out again. Once again, now my third call about the same issue. The worker came out again and said the air was fixed. By 1am the temperature has still not come down in my apartment and now it's at 80 degrees. This is now my 4th call about the same issue and I was told that I need to wait until the office opens at 8am. They should not advertise an emergency number if they dont offer emergency services. Not having air conditioning in the middle of the summer in North Carolina is absolutely an emergency. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE WHERE YOU WANT TO LIVE.

While the apartment itself isn't bad. The service leaves a lot to be desired. Several unexpected fees were charged to my account upon returning my keys to the leasing office. The manager Beth refused to remove these charges despite one of the leasing associates saying they'd be removed. Very disappointed in their dishonesty regarding this. Not sure if I can recommend living here based on this experience alone despite the living environment itself.

It took them all of 5 minutes to deny my application of which I had just paid $75 when they knew they were going to deny me anyway because I had previously applied, because my ex-husband stated he would do it in his name. All they had to do was tell me that it would probably be denied because of the previous application but now they got $150 out of me.
