When we set out to describe our gorgeous new apartment home upgrades at Crosstown at Chapel Hill, one word seemed to sum up everything perfectly: "wow." Our unassuming exterior belies apartments and features that pack a design punch. Our clubroom and social spaces give a firm nod to boutique hotel lobbies - definitely hang-out-worthy. Not to be outdone, our apartments feature luxe fixtures and finishes that are sure to dazzle.
I have lived here for 2 months and have been very impressed. The application process was smooth and easy- Chris in the office was so very patient and helpful with all questions. Maintenance assistance is impressive with fast response times. The grounds are clean and well maintained. Atmosphere quiet. Would highly recommend.
I was shown a renovated unit that had granite kitchen countertops. Believing this is what Id be getting, once I arrived, I found that their older apartments had the granite and newer ones had Formicawhich makes no sense. On top of that, my ground floor apartment has several bug problems from centipedes, cockroaches, to spiders etc. No amount of pest control seems to fix the issue.Thirdly, the management is very quick to respond about some things and very slow to respond about others. Very soon after I moved in, I had noticed that my bathtubs were sloppily painted over and that the paint was peeling off in places when I showered. After complaining, it them 2 weeks to fix the master bathroom and it has been 2 months and Im still waiting for them to fix my guest bath tub.On the face of it all, the management is nice and the outwardly appearance of the apartments is appealing. But after living here for a few months, Im somewhat disappointed with experience here.
I think it is a beautiful place
I gave them two stars because out of the mostly bad things about this place I do like that they pave the parking lot immediately after we have ice/snow during the winter. Also Fernando that works in the office is great! But the new management that works here does not show good customer service. All of the upgrades they did mostly went towards the office and pools. The maintainence workers are unprofessional and honestly do not complete their job well. The other people in the office seem like youre a bother when talking to them. It occasionally smells bad because of the water treatment place next door of the complex. The parking here sucks and last but not least this place has a bad case of car break-ins even if your windows are up and car is locked. So if youre looking for an apartment in Chapel Hill/Durham area I would look more thoroughly (maybe apartments by southpoint mall) before choosing this place.
Every time I contact the office on the phone or in person, I have the best service. The staff here is friendly and helpful. I love the new renovations, they look brand new and the location is so convenient. They have everything I could possibly want. The saltwater pool & lounge and the Dog Park are my favorite. My dog and I love it here!
