The Lodge at Crossroads

I just moved here here at the lodge @ crossroads , there was some major problems that need attention, management took care of it right away and I was please with the final results. I would highly recommend this apartment complex . The location is fantastic the grounds are breathtaking, especially living so close to the lake. I have live all my life in a city environment, I have to express that this is quality of life that gives you the urban life feeling as well all in one bundle package. We lived at the Lodge at Crossroads for over 3 years. We saw 3 +changes in all staff while there and they little effort to build a sense of community. They'd be nice for lease sign-up but were often unfriendly, unhelpful and unavailable after we became tenants. We were over-billed for our last rent (by approximately double what we owed) and then when they reviewed what they were refunding us (even though I have photos showing the place was clean AND maintenance did a walk-thru telling us that all was well) they charged excessive amounts. Additional issues over the past 3+ years: fire department came at 2am due to the fact that fire detectors were TEN years past due in being replaced (they onever replaced our neighbors). I have pics of massive mold that built up in our A/C that I had to fight to have fixed. Also black mold issues on the windows they advised was "normal" and our responsibility to take care of (they paint over it). I have pics of trash that piles up high at the trash compactor. The dog park is full of trash and holes (some covered by wood), unsafe. They allowed fire alarm sensors to go off for 2 months because they didn't want to pay for replacement parts. If you visit the place, ask any tenant about roaches (especially bad when it rains and when they do weekly yard work). They rented to corporate tenants who were not quiet, banged on our door in the middle of the night in a drunken stupor and in a threatening manner (the office then told us "but they're a nice guy" even though the police came and warned them to stop), and the flooring did not buffer sound between levels because they used insufficient sound barriers. Lastly, and the saddest part, the property manager had their disabled adult child living in an apartment on the floor below us, which was filthy on the outside and you could hear them scream at and hit the two young children while they lived there. Im in Love with the lodge at Crossroads !!!!The pictures were beautiful online but in person is far More much better than I could imagine . I had a difficult transition from New Jersey, the loss of my mom has been very difficult, but thanks to Lori making the move here was made much easier to come to Cary.I met her the first time in person today and she was just as warm and friendly as over the phone it was like seeing a old friend !!! My apartment is perfect for me it gives great storage and the view in morning when I wake up makes it more than worthwhile Its cozy and inviting Im so happy I came across this complex. Jonathan also has been more than accommodating too very friendly and knowledgeable. I feel like the Lodgeatcrossroads is my home forever!

Excellent office staff, always so welcoming. The assistant manager was very quick to come out to help and the leasing agent, Adaisha did wonderful job showing me around and giving details of the property. I hope to apply soon.
