Certified Resident

As a Resident - I retired in NC and have enjoyed living in this wonderful Community. This Community is made up of all age groups which is unique. Families with grade school children are in the best School District on Davis Drive which is easily accessible by Transportation provided by the School District which stops on the property. This Community further is centrally located to many walking distance food markets, many run n go food shops, great restaurants, pharmacies, medical/dental and professional offices, library, art n cultural centers. Just to name a few which makes this Community HOME. The Community has many annuities such has manicured grounds, lake, pool, media room, gym as well as laundry faculty. In closing the Management and Maintenance Staff are here to help.

COCKROACH APARTMENTS
This place is infested with cockroaches (the management company refers to them as wood bugs). The day of picking up the keys was 2 dead roaches on the carpet in 2 different rooms. We were told they were black and are wood bugs. Gave them the benefit of doubt. Next day moved in set up my boys beds, red roaches started to appear at night in varying sizes. Management company states they never heard of pest issues. They had an exterminator come the next day and he informed us that it would take 2-3 more treatments. Management also informed us that it was routine for all apartment complexes that exterminator visit on a weekly basis for maintenance. I have live in Manhattan, NY in a pre-war building and have only seen a roach once in 6 years in my apartment. You can see them in subways and on the street and the building there did not have weekly visit from exterminators for maintenance. My kids cannot sleep at night since the roaches are very active and night. One crawled my older sons foot at the dining table. My sons are definitely scared mentally and emotionally with roaches. The management company has offered to move us to a different unit but it does not guarantee roach free living nor will that resolve my kids fear of roaches now. I still have 20+ roaches in my handheld vacuum for proof if not released form my lease. Management meant has even hinted that we may have brought the roaches during our move, which is infuriating. This whole relocation to Cary, NC has been a horrific experience for my kids and my whole family that we are moving back to NYC. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPLEX AT ALL EXPENSE. SPARE YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY.

The Four years stay was good but the exit was not at all pleasant. The leasing office made mistakes in registering our key handover day at the apartment and hence the finance settlement. The leasing office staff should me more efficient in handling.

Certified Resident

A nice living complex. Mature well maintain landscaping including a pond and great walking path behind Club house/pool. Close proximity to wonderful restaurants, grocery stores and boutique shopping.
