Great location that is close to downtown Raleigh but has the seclusion of a quiet atmosphere. Apartment staff are very friendly, make themselves available and are always ready to address concerns. Facilities are nice especially the business center and the workout area. Rooms are spacious and affordable considering the quality of the complex.
I've been living here for 4 years and never had a problem. The staff is VERY friendly and ALWAYS assist me when needed. The Maintenacne staff always speak when I see them on the grounds and they keep the grounds VERY clean! I love lving here!
I definitely would not recommend moving here any time soon. I've lived here (mostly) happy for five years, but this last year has been awful. I will NOT be renewing my lease again.
Parking can be a problem if you come home late, and there's a waiting list for the garages with attached parking, so good luck with that. Residents park wherever they want, and it's almost always not in front of their buildings. And now that the hotel has been built, expect useless stop signs and ignorant drivers.
Maintenance is nonexistent, and completely unreliable. The online maintenance request features do NOT work! If you want something repaired, expect to have to go the office and raise a stink.
The buildings themselves are in okay shape, although the insulation is thin, so expect to have to cover your windows with that plastic wrap in the winter. There are some cracks in the ceilings and on the concrete balconies, but they seem to be cosmetic.
The pool is almost always open, but morons bring and break glass a lot, so don't make plans until you've been there and confirmed.
The office staff are nice, and very friendly, but ineffective or never there.
I used to wonder why there seemed to be so much turnaround in these apartments, but now I know why. Save yourself the headache and find somewhere else to live.
Only positive about this apartment complex is the location. Agree with other reviewers that the office just charges money to get more money out of you! Before move out a carpet inspection was done by maintenance because we had 2 cats. We stayed the entire inspection and were told the carpets were fine and would not be charged yet on my rent refund $65 was removed for pet treatment. Originally paid a $300 pet fee upon move in but was told that money was a "fee" and was not about to get an explaination what that "fee" covered. This is just one of the bad experiences with living at Legacy Crossroads. Rent is sky high and the buildings are built very poorly. Be ready to hear EVERYTHING that occurs in the apartments around you! And if you hear anything upleasant do not waste time complaining to management because nothing gets done! Rent elsewhere and save yourself time, money, and the aggravation! Worst place I have ever rented from.
Recently moved into the complex. The apartment was well prepped. Maintenance are personable and professional. Leasing agents are caring, responsive and thorough to any questions/concerns raised. Neighbors are courteous and friendly.
