I'm a resident of Ashbrook we really liked it but the management just kept going And the rent keeps going up. We've been here 8 years and we don't like to move so I want to find some thing more out of town in Raliegh. I want a three bedroom spacious house it doesn't have to be fancy. No carpet or paneling on the walls. Or we can do an apartment also. We need a washer and dryer. My husband works for orange waters and sewer authority. And been there 8 years. I will be getting a service dog when I find a match. I do have a 13 year old Sheltie and he has to like the dog too.
Friendly staff at the main office. Overall a nice place to live, but the community is not very clean. They have some once in a while major plumbing issues if you live on the 1st floor. I think most of my issues wouldnt exist if I didn't live on the 1st floor.
Really nice washer and dryer, fridge, and microwave. Medium quality stove top oven. Bathroom is definitely moderate quality. Quality of "brand new renovation" leaves something to be desired. My apt was missing a large piece of trim in 2 locations. Lumps under the carpet. Paint spilled on the carpets. The carpet itself is extremely low quality. Finish on the bathtub only lasted 6 months before peeling off.
If you have major problems they respond very quickly and solve your issue within an hour or two. Really great maintenance dept. and all the service guys are great.
Overall for the price of $725 for 1 bed 1 bath and with close proximity to a lot of things it is fairly priced. Don't expect anything spectacular and you'll enjoy living here, but DO NOT live on the 1st floor. The window situation sucks and the plumbing issues suck too. Both solved if you just live 2nd or 3rd floor only.
