In pursuit of leisure, tucked privately in thriving south Asheville, fringed by the Blue Ridge Parkway & Mountains. The Views welcomes you home!!
Moved in June. Was not permitted to see my apartment until the day I moved in. NOT what I had hoped. They slopped gray paint on all the walls and darker gray on the woodwork with NO PRE PAINTING PREPARATION. It is VERY DARK IN HERE!!! They also slopped the gray latex paint on my white ceramic tile fireplace surround and it is coming off in sheets! Should have known not to paint latex over ceramic tile with no prep! Have given two notices that I want the paint removed - no response yet, (they are "trying" to figure out what to do about it)! Trying to wait me out I suspect. Decided to have entry gates closed 24/7 and did not alert the residents beforehand. My apartment was not as clean as I had expected and the painters simply painted over dirt on the woodwork and walls. Paint still sticky after a month. I do love my new neighbors, worth it to move in beside these nice folks. I think they are going to upgrade the landscaping, (hopefully where the residents live, not just for show at the front entrance). Overall, I like it here, will upgrade my star count IF they will take care of some issues. New management is nice and on site. New owners must be out-of-state and so far I am not impressed.
Terrible experience - the office no longer accepts packages and the rent has increased dramatically since the water billing issue that all tenants have complained about!
The Views is a very nice place to live. Any time you email a problem, they have it fixed within a few days.
The windows leak in cold air causing huge elect.. Cost. ;shingles have flown off roof ,manager says brookside will not be doing roofs;
The landscape has no mulch, top soil gone!! Water accumulates near foundation of the apt.; old toilets using excess water; management poor in customer service. On and on. Rent too high for living conditions!!
Great experience. The ladies in the office are super-fun and helpful! If you look close, the luxury paint, cabinets, etc aren't done very well but my apartment was very well insulated. My electric was $90 at the highest in the coldest month.
