It's a run-of-the-mill apartment complex that is charging too much money for the quality of what is received.
I would suggest looking at other apartment complexes for around the same price because there are several that have more amenities to offer, including dog parks, garage parking, storage areas, elevators, jetted tubs, full-size kitchen cabinets, loading areas, and more.
There is no dog park. The stairs do not have risers so you can't use stair climbing carts. The appliances are mediocre. The stuff on the floors that looks like wood is vinyl. Doors are poorly hung. Soffit boards need to be replaced. They've mulched once the entire time I've been there. The drainage is poor around the buildings so there will often be puddles of water near each building. The parking spaces are too small, and there are no loading areas in front of the apartments; so, have fun unloading large loads of groceries or larger objects, then carrying all of that stuff up the stairs after you've turned yourself into a contortionist to get out of your car.
Honestly, if the place were a bit cheaper, it would be fine, but it's just too much money for a lot of blah.
I wish their were more treadmills in the gym instead of all the three cycle bikes thats hardly used. Several occasions people are waiting on others to use the treadmill. Im also very tired of stepping in dog poop, happened three times within the last week. I also wish I didnt have noisy neighbors, but reading the other reviews it seems nothing is ever done about it. Everyone else pays bills here, so others should respect others. Several occasions unable to sleep throughout the night at 1-3am because of such loud noises. Paint is chipping off of cabinets in bathroom (never updated, just painted over), power outlets falling apart, and the doors have cracks in them so its always cold in the apartment and bugs enter, although I never see anyone spraying for pests although I am charged monthly for the service. I also have yet to see a fire extinguisher in the apartment breezeways nor in the apartments. When the people above does their laundry (every day) the vent is on the balconies so all of the lent falls on my balcony which is an inconvenience. The ladys in the office are really nice but arent much help. The price is not worth the stay at these apartment homes. Packages arent accepted, no dog park, no community/residence social gatherings, loud neighbors (removing carpet out the living room was the worst thing they could of ever done.), they dont match half of the amenities other complexs offer for the apartment price they are asking. Theyve got to do better. If the price was lower it would be an OK place to live.
Love my apartment community. Going to renew for another year. The office staff are very helpful and my requests are always answered.
I just moved into The Views a month ago and I can't say enough good things about it! The two girls who are in charge at the office are simply the best! I guarantee that you will love living here!
Moved in here in June, so far its great. I love my apartment. The appliances work great, office staff is very helpful, and the community is on the quiet side. Would recommend to anyone.
In pursuit of leisure, tucked privately in thriving south Asheville, fringed by the Blue Ridge Parkway & Mountains. The Views welcomes you home!!
