Aventine

This is a beautiful property. With the right management, it could be amazing. Sadly, our current property manager has spent the last year increasing rent and fees, while decreasing or eliminating property services and amenities. I understand market value. I know rent tends to increase, year to year. When renewing my lease last February, my 1BR apartments rent increased about $100 per month (to $1,900/month). But in addition to that, they tack on multiple monthly fees. Fees theyve arbitrarily increased or doubled, and added an additional fee whether we want/need it or not. As our property manager repeatedly tells us, theyre all mandatory. This is an isolated community; meaning we cannot simply walk to anything. So that makes this property's amenities a HUGE factor when choosing a place to live. I've been here 18 months and Ive watched our current management reduce these amenities, or simply remove them. Their right to do this is outlined on page 2, section 18 of our lease, as our property manager has pointed out to us, multiple times. The most obvious example is our pool. Its been closed since May 22, 2024. Every couple of weeks, our property manager sends us an email with a new excuse. At their current rate, I don't expect the pool to re-open this summer. Bottom line: If you value a propertys residential amenities, think twice before moving here. Our current property manager rules with an iron fist. If any amenity needs repair or cost them too much, she has the choice to: A. Repair it, or B. Close or remove it. 9 times out of 10, shell choose option B.

Very impressed with the complex.

The Aventine is a great place to meet people and make connections. Our dogs love the park to stretch there legs. We also love how close it is to restaurants and hiking.

The whole experience has been wonderful. I do wish they would open the pool at 8am instead of 10 and leave it open until 12. Every day.

Im sooo happy that I moved here because the amenities are awesome! Staff are super customer service friendly and attentive!

Very nice apartments. We lived there 2 years and really enjoyed it. Great amenities. Maintenance staff was outstanding... most repairs fixed within 24 hours. Very friendly staff also. Our one complaint was that the pool rules and times were not enforced very well. People stayed in the pool/grill area way past the posted closing time and could be very loud. Our apartment faced the pool so it was a problem for us.Many spring nights when we wanted our windows open we had to close them due to the noise at the pool/grill area. Other than that one issue, we loved our 2 years at the Aventine.
