I have lived here 12+ years. I love that the grounds make AP seem more like home than other apts. with so much concrete. The staff is friendly and always making sure the property stays well kept. AP is close to good shopping and good places to eat and have fun with friends and family.

I love living at Avalon Peaks. The staff here are amazing and if I ever have a problem they are quick to resolve it. Areas are clean and maintained beautifully. I looked around at several other complexes when I was on my home search and Avalon Peaks won hands down!

Pros: if youre looking for a quiet, dog friendly neighborhood, this is the perfect spot for you. The complex allows all kinds of breeds and have a program to recognize timid dogs by providing lease ribbons to signify the dog is anti-social. There are dog waste stations around every corner and a huge mulch dog park. The complex is gated and has a nice, warm neighborhood feel to it. The floor plans are great, sound proof and priced fairly. Maintanence is very responsive and completes work orders very efficiently. I feel like I have plenty of privacy and have a feeling of safety living here. The office staff is always friendly and prompt also. Our move in was easy and stress free.

Cons: the new kitchen renovations the complex did are cheap for what you pay for. The only positive would be the cabinets; theyre of a good material and have plenty of space for storage. On the other hand, the appliances are bottom shelf and the floor is of the cheapest material. I moved in to a brand new renovated apartment and walked into a completely damaged dishwasher. There was a huge dent on the bottom left corner which kept the dishwasher from opening more than halfway and it was placed in crooked. The damaged dishwasher should NEVER have been installed in the first place. It should have been returned for a new unit the second mantainance saw the obvious damage. Maintenence did respond to my request the next day and was able to make the dishwasher open 3/4s way, but its still an eyesore and the bottom drawer still slides back into the dishwasher unless you hold it while loading. Additionally the floor in the kitchen was already torn in two areas, and the stove is a very cheap flattop that scratches way too easily. I understand that the company that did the kitchen renos was contracted, but that kind of carelessness makes the complex look bad. With the low quality flooring, stove top, and dishwasher, we are worried about living and using them for another year.
