ABSURD HUMIDITY! Apartment was so humid that it grew mold in the bathroom sink every few months and bottom of my shower curtain became black with mold within few months. My bathroom towel rack became black with mold. Property management is aware of this; they actually provide DIY steps to mitigate this; never worked. Air in the apartment becomes so stagnant that I couldn't cook a steak without setting off the smoke alarm.
I discovered that the A/C (provided by Crestwood) did not operate properly. It ran cold air for approximately 10 minutes then would shut off. I notified the property management; had to make subsequent follow up calls and an in person visit to the property management to have them replace the A/C unit. By this time it was fall, so I had no need to use the A/C. Next summer (2017) I attempted to use the A/C again to find out that the A/C again had the same problem. Still not fixed. Drive around the complex and take note of A/C(s) you see. Every apartment has A/Cs installed in the walls. But take note of additional A/Cs installed in the windows. Some are stacked on top of one another.
Crestwood agent told me that the unit was internet ready at move in. It was not. Apparently, they've just renovated the unit and there was no connection. I explained to the property management that internet was critical for my business. I called in two ISPs in the area to resolve the issue. They both offered a temporary solution but Crestwood declined citing that I will have to wait until they get their contractor to finish the work to allow connection. In the meantime, I had to rely on "hotspots" just to stay connected. It took a month for them to complete the job they; from my observation it was drilling a hole in the corner of the ceiling and installing the edging to hide the cable wire. I was finally able to call in ISP technician to have a dedicated internet. Afterwards I had multiple visits from the property management to take pictures of the w
The apartments and the neighborhood were great when I first moved here (20 years ago), but over the last few years quality of life in this neighborhood has diminished. It also doesn't help that the management and staff are rude and customer service is subpar. Tenant complaints are not taken seriously and billing problems are rampant. If you can, find a better place to live.
Worst place to live. Bedbugs and poor customer service. They have no respect for the residents and treat them as adversary when you go with a service request
