Very well maintained building with great amenities. The staff always go over the top to accommodate residents. Finishes are high end and very clean looking. The location is really what attracted us. Its close to the city and transportation.
This building is beautiful. Great finishes in the apartments. Very high end. They are also much larger than I expected. Everything is brand new! Great location as well.
This review will focus on some serious and recurring problems that are not readily apparent. For units facing the front of the building, you can expect a great deal of noise. Because the building provides zero noise insulation, you will hear everything from cars on Danforth Rd to people talking in front of the front entrance to snow blowers at 6:30am. Unless you live on the top floor, you will also very likely to hear every single step taken by the people who live in the unit above you. Finally, in the last few months, the fire alarms have been going off randomly several times. These are extremely loud and startling. The first time it happened was late at night around 11pm and it went off for at least 30 minutes. The fire department came but it doesn't seem like the problems have been resolved as the alarms have been going off a few more times since. In sum, if you value peace and quiet, this is probably not the right place for you.
The apartments are new and spacious which is lovely. The nest thermostat system is nice and the amenities are adequate. Location is good. Parking garage is convenient. Unfortunately, much of the construction is of poor quality (floors, paint, and light fixtures.) We hear significant noise from neighbors every single day - morning and evening (this will probably be a deal breaker for us in resigning a lease) We were disappointed to discover that recycling is not available in the building.
Apartments are modern and brand new. Amenities (gym, swimming pool, indoor parking) are great. Building is clean and well-maintained. Office staff is attentive. Walls are thick and soundproof -- you can't hear people next door or upstairs. The surrounding area is quite commerical; it's not like living in a residential area. But I find the immediate availability of restaurants and movie theaters convenient. Can't wait for the new supermarket to open.
