I love the layout of the apartment; it's very ideal for my dog and me. My corner apartment has plenty of light and while the views aren't the greatest here, the windows are up higher than a house so the highway and billboard from one window are not right in your face. It's an easy walk for me to work in the Main Place Tower or to the above ground rail if the weather is bad. Great places to take the dog for a walk here around the water.
There has been ongoing construction and various parking issues. Additionally, the walls are rather thin.
Sharing a residential space with lots of commercial space just isn't ideal. Every complaint we've given does get a response by the friendly staff at Elliott development but doesn't necessarily get fixed. The apartments are also way to expensive. At first glance it seems worth it. But once you move in you realize nothing is upscale. Also parking is horrendous. You get one designated spot for each apartment, but the people who work at the businesses park wherever they want.
-When we signed lease, we were told there would be a gym + restaurant in the building in spring '15. As of 3/16, neither of those exist. -Guaranteed two parking spots, only got one. Frequently occupied by commercial tenants, who Ellicott Dev. won't ticket or tow, so we're left with nowhere to park. -Were told there would be gated parking.
