AVA DoBro is steps from cultural icons such as the Barclays Center and Brooklyn Flea, and local restaurants and nightlife of Fort Greene, Carroll Gardens, and Brooklyn Heights. AVA DoBro features brand new studio, 1, 2, and 3 bedroom floor plans that feature kitchens with stainless steel appliances, quartz-stone countertops, and tile backsplashes. Plus, most units comes with hard-surface plank flooring, an in-unit washer/dryer, and a built-in charging station. AVA DoBro features a 58th floor rooftop deck and lounge, 30th floor terrace with grills, heated outdoor dog run, and fully-equipped fitness center . Best of all, AVA DoBro is the perfect home base, directly above a Jay Street-MetroTech Subway Station giving immediate access to the A/C, F, and R trains while being less than a 5-minute walk from the 2/3, 4/5, B, and Q trains.
Very disappointed with management. It is New Years Eve and my roommates and I, and 2 friends went up to the lounge only to find that it is closed for a private event? Say what? Why shut out the residents of your building from enjoying the amenities they are paying for, especially on holidays?I can now see in an email they sent out only yesterday that it is closed for a private event. This is an injustice. I think we are going to move out when our lease ends soon, as this is super hypocritical to do something like this to your residents. It shows you do care that you may have ruined countless peoples plans on this special night. How much money were you paid for this private event and was it worth letting the bulk your residents down and disappointing the Ava DoBro community? Many of our friends in the building are upset too. With so many new buildings opening in the area, we are not going to renew our lease at this rate. How hypocritical can you be Ava team? You can do so much better. Thanks for royally and heartlessly messing up our New years eve plans.
Worst experience ever. Leasing office was nice until I signed my lease. Simple doesnt care anything about their residents.
This place is amazing. First moving in, I was skeptical since the rooms weren't ready yet and none of us were able to see our place. We trusted it'll be a good fit however because of the warm staff who convinced us it'd be worth our while. Once we were finally allowed to move in and see our place we were blown away. The floors are really nice and easy to maintain. Everything was brand new and really spacious. The high ceilings and big windows are a huge plus. The barn doors are awesome and the kitchen included gas stoves a dishwasher and Lo and behold a garbage disposal! What puts this over the top is definitely the staff. They left beers in our fridge and welcomed us with such enthusiasm, including greeting us every morning. You're never scared to ask them a question or bug them for your package. They also helped me move in a huge bookcase that wouldn't fit through the elevators and brought it in through the construction elevator. These are little things they didn't have to do. I can't wait once the roof and gyms and lounged are finally built! I would recommend this place.
Living at the Ava Dobro was such a great decision. The apartment is so nice and the people working here make everything so welcoming and homey.
The design of the apartment and community areas is hands down the best I've seen - and I've lived in / viewed other similar buildings in the area. And, the custom art in the lobby and mailroom are a great touch to give it that extra Brooklyn love.
