I love this amazing community. Able to relax after work. My dogs and my son are so excited to walk the amazing grounds. Perfect location to to everything! I can just walk to the store. Maintenance is awesome I did al my work orders done very quickly. The office is so helpful and cheerful, I love all the ladies! Apartment ratings site is incorrect! I wouldn't live anywhere else... I love the retreat at candelaria I do appreciate the office staff for making this a wonderful place to live!!!

The staff is accommodating, friendly, working together to please tenants. I feel safe here. The grounds are beautiful and the atmosphere pleasant.

Renting agents do not listen to situations needing fixing for personal use that are defective. The garbage area is gross. I have to pay for lighting my own front door every night, all night. Garbage, sewer and water are not included like so many other rentals, costing $65 extra a month. Thermometer on my heating cooling are shut off and shut on manually. The windows are so thin, that in cold and hot weather it costs 3 xs as much if windows were energy efficient. MJK.

The water has been shut off unannounced 8 times in the last five months. The staff is inattentive, and confrontational when questioned about repairs. The complex is under new management, and several residents have left lately. When they did move, they were hit with the new rental company having lost their move in damage sheets. without these they are charging for all damage that existed before the tenants moved in. Items like carpet replacement and electrical issues are brought up, and without the original damage sheets the tenants have been stuck with large fines. Some as high as $1100. Theft is an issue as well. There have been four attempts to steal my motorcycle in two years living here, and two have actually been stolen from right next to mine. There are three pools here and two hot tubs on the property. They only opened one pool mid July 2017. The rest are closed and the staff is very surly when asked about them. The gym has no working equipment they are all missing parts. The The recreational room above the gym has never been open in the last two years. The laundry facilities are always having issues. The driers in my building have not worked in a month. Once again the staff gets angry when asked about repairs. I have confronted the security guy for looking into lower level unit windows in the early morning several times. I have had no calls returned from the out of state management company, and the manager has also failed to return calls. I am at a loss. I have tried all avenues I can think of to get these issues addressed to no avail. I am currently looking into moving, but not until I know if they have lost my paperwork I can't, and they are not being helpful in looking for my paperwork. I can't afford all of the tack on fines they are generating for the other leaving residents. Good luck looking for an apt. I would not consider the Retreat an option.
