Highlands at Westwood

Not happy living here, where to start. I couldnt tour the apartment, because someone was prior living here. So I basically had to rent it based on video and photos. The heating and cooling system is ancient and super loud. Despite having stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, the washer and dryer are both basic. Both hidden behind closest doors, so you dont notice. I am on the ground floor, and surrounded on two sides by parked cars, interrupted by headlights and car alarms on the regular. Their is also an exterior light that gleams into my bedroom window and they wont adjust it nor let me put up blackout shades. We have had a centipede issue on multiple occasions. Again, the old windows and doors, dont help. Entrance door slams every time someone walks in and out. There is no package control, your packages just get left in front of your building, mine is visible from a major road. There is no bird control, so your deck is full of bird poop and is basically unusable. Their is also no screen door for the deck. The windows are ancient and not energy-efficient, at a time that heating is so expensive. My neighbors upstairs are so loud, and nothing is done about it. Despite paying electronically and automatically, I still get charged an invoice fee. Their under new management but kept the old staff and the women in the office are difficult to work with.

Nice space and amenities. Staff was very nice. Good location with access to many convenient roads.

Ive been living at the Highlands for over 5 years. The complex is beautiful and very well maintained. The maintenance and office staff are very helpful and the grounds are well kept.

Great place to live. Great amenities, staff, location and beautiful landscaping.

Stay away from the highlands at westwood at all costs.

A great safe place to live! The apartments are clean and spacious. The complex is located minutes from the train station, multiple bus stops and down town Westwood. The residents and friendly and the Management Team always goes above and beyond.
