I lived at The Village on two occasions, from 2005 to 2010 and from 2012 to January 2018. I had no complaints with the buildings as they were always being updated. The neighbors were not a problem and the grounds were generally kept neat. The management staff were courteous and helpful. Any repairs were done in a timely fashion. I would recommend these apartments to anyone.

The units are acceptable but the amenities are Abysmal. The property is poorly maintained from the grounds not being maintained, to the dog park that floods every time it rains, to playground that has been closed for weeks to upgrade. The staff is friendly, but has no interest in improving any of these issues; they are more interested in making excuses to maintaining a substandard property to support their finical bottom line.

We have problems with 2 of our neighbors being extremely noisy (only at night past 12 AM) they are constantly slamming doors shut and the other has their TV so loud that we can clearly hear it through our bedroom wall. We've complained to Sarah on multiple occasions and her response always was "I talked to them and they say they aren't doing so and so" and for us to "call the cops" we've called the cops a numerous amount of times because talking to her got us nowhere. The tv will go off after they show up and then be right back on an hour later and wake us up again. When we signed the lease they bragged about how good they were with the noise policy and yet nothing has been done for months. We have the "modern" apartment and pay $1115 a month for a one bedroom one bathroom apartment. The tub and sinks both have had problems draining since we've moved in. We've had problems with flys and ants getting in through holes in the wood along the flooring and in the ceilings. They brag about how all apartments come with washers and dryers in them but we haven't used our dryer since we've moved in (in September) because when you run it the apartment gets VERY hot since there's no ventilation (our fan in the bathroom and towel rack both fell off the wall from the lack of ventilation and moisture build up) and it smells like it's going to catch on fire. We have until September and we've tried to get out of our lease but can't so we've actually started putting our stuff into storage and will be staying with my parents and continuing to pay for an apartment we won't be staying in because they're more concerned about making money than their tenants.

Some of the office staff shouldn't be in that field. They are on the phone talk and eating in your ear.
