Kitchen was in poor condition as was the bathroom. Maintenance did not repair anyting properly. Find another place to live!

My boyfriend and I moved into one of these apartment homes less than 1 year ago. When coming to see the apartments, we were met by a woman named Rosemarie. As this was our first apartment, Rosemarie took the opportunity to take advantage of us and pretend to not know the issues that have been ongoing with the apartment for some time. Within the first week we had moved in, we found the first and only problem with these apartments... a cockroach infestation. And yes, whether you want to call them water bugs or oriental cockroaches.. they are still cockroaches. The health department has informed me that they are quite familiar with Burnt Mill and that the problem will never and can never go away. The leasing office and your neighbors on Prospect Ave will try to convince you that they have never seen them or heard a complaint about them. Many of the 5 star reviews have been submitted by tenants that live on Prospect Ave just so that you will ignore reviews like this. PLEASE NEVER MOVE HERE! ( same review with pictures posted on google for proof)

PLEASE TAKE SERIOUSLY. TENANT BEWARE. Do not move here. I lived here for one year and never experienced more problems in 25 years of apartment living. Outrageous hidden fees.. you will pay up to $100 for water a month shared by entire building, basement floods every time it rains. All appliances are 25 years old and you will never be able to keep apartment cool in the summer due to apartment layout....you get 1 window unit. Management makes up their own rules as they go. They make the outside appearance appititing but no upgrades on the inside with outrageous rent increases within the first year. PLUMBING is a major problem..I went 2 weeks without a toilet and maintenance suggested to put feces covered toilet paper in baggies. The neighbors with pets never pick up feces after dogs relieve themselves... Train stations are right next to you..patco and AC train.. Good luck with that outrageous noise...You will never get your DEPOSIT back.... they take it for carpet cleaning, painting and whatever they make up. The one thing I will say is that it was quite and peaceful when trains weren't going by and there was a wonderful neighbor named Colleen who befriends everyone and brings treats to all the dogs. I will miss her.... Beyond that STAY AWAY.

Stay Away..it has been a nightmare since Ive moved in..... you are never reach anyone when you need them.. they NEVER return your calls... I had a busted entrance door for 6 months before they decided to fix and then they billed me for it... the property manager is unprofessional and rude... I had no heat for 3 months (they provide a space heater to be covered by law... the worst housing experience that Ive ever had... lease here at your own risk !!!
