I am a former tenant of Park Square (when it was under different management) and was looking to return to the community. I viewed a unit and fell in love and the leasing professional did an amazing job selling me on the unit. Our communication thereafter was good and I applied for tenancy online. Sadly, we were denied. I understand building standards and all- especially since I am a former tenant but I also believe that extenuating circumstances should be considered. My credit is horrible, but thats because I went back to school for masters and doctorate degrees so of course I have loans. I am also the sole caregiver for my husband and mother- both of whom are battling life threatening illnesses- so my bills have had to take a hit so that I could keep a roof over all of our heads (including all utilities). My income is well over what I would need to live at Park Square and the unit was well within my budget. My husband and I are very quiet and would have been great tenants and I work with young people in the community so living at PS would have afforded me with less commute time, giving me a chance to bring more programs to the neighborhood. When I contacted the office to find out if there was any opportunity for appeal, no one ever reached back out to me. I guess when youre a no, youre a nobody. Im saddened, but I guess I shouldnt be surprised given the other reviews that Im seeing. I would hope that PS would take a prospective tenants WHOLE picture into account before refusing them. But thankfully, as others have said, there are several newer buildings going up, so maybe Ill find a new home there!
Apartment is OK, but leasing manager is worst leasing staff I have ever met. We decide to move out because of her rudeness.
